does the size of a person ears determine how well he hears and why?

no the size of the ear doesnt do much in the hearing capability .....its basically the outer ear which is big it jus helps in gathering sounds from the atmosphere and focussing them on the ear drum.... the size of the ear drum is the same for all.....think of your ear as a mic where if u have a bigger or smaller mic it doesnt effect much

There is a mild effect of the external ear in focusing sound waves. That is why turning your head toward a sound will sometimes help. But the effect is very mild and I doubt very much if it would be increased much by a small increase in size. So in theory - yes. In practice - no

Thats what you think..
THAT doesn't mean that if you have big ears, you can hear the words very well.
THERE are people that hears words even their ears are small..

no, it's the shape that counts.
except for dolphins. they can hear really well but where are their ears??

no but you better reception of dish with the bigger ones.ear size doesnt matter.
