if the car moves the brakes are not seazed . when you dont use a car for a few weeks discs and drums go rusty after about 100 miles it will stop . hope this helps

hi there, the best way to do this is jack the car up and take the rear drums off and get some abrasive paper and give the brake liners (the shoes) a good sanding as well as the inside of the drums, if you feel you cant do it yourself then get someone who know, also id put some grease on the return spring of the handbrake cable just inside the hub so that the spring doesn't get tight,

The bake shoes may have rusted to the drum. I have seen this from time to time. Remove the wheel and strike the drum sharply with a hammer. The blow should free up the brake. Test this by trying to rotate the drum. It may take several attempts. Make sure the parking brake is released when doing this. Good luck.

Could be lots of things, including just a build-up of brake dust in the drum. Does sound, though, as though it might be a wheel bearing starting to go, the change in emphasis as the load on the wheel changes tends to support this.
I'd suggest you get a mechanic to look at it for your own safety if nothing else.

you probably left the handbrake on..youwillneed to get underneath and spray your linkages . get a freind to operate the hand brake up and down to help you find where you need to spray
