I was born and raised a French Roman Catholic but don't consider my-self to be of this faith. I do not fully believe in any of the christian denominations or beliefs either. I consider my-self to be open minded and not at all conservative. I have very liberal and modern views of Jesus's life. Having said all this I have a great respect for Jesus and his message.

I know a fair bit of the new testament and have little interest in the old testament. Bibles have always intimidated me. I consider my-self intelligent and have a strong grasp of english. I say all this because I want to read the Bible now but don't know which version is best for me. I don't want to do King James because I feel it's outdated. Where do I start?

Also, I heard there was a slang Bible that used swear words. What is it called?

i would not be dong the exact versions, but rather using my own voicings and improvising on the melody. i would be doing standards by miles, coltrane, evans, etc. and i would be playing them on solo piano. Is this against copyright laws?

I am the baby of the family and every since I can remember they have treated me as such. Now I am 28 years, married, with a step-son and daugther and they still feel like they can still talk to me any way they want and disrespect the decisions my husband and I make regarding "my daughter". Not only that but, whenever I have a ligitimate gripe about something and I make them aware of it they just seem to over talk me and never seem to care what I was saying. My husband suggested that we distance ourselves from them until they can respect us. I feel bad about them not being able to see their grandchild and their niece. What should I do?

So I texted this girl yesterday after work saying "Hey, what’s up?" and she didn't reply back. So I called few hours later, but I hung up after 3 bells.
So since yesterday she hasn't called me back,

But I called her back today. But she was out with her family. So I didn't want to disturb her, so I ended the call after couple of minuts.

Should I text her back again, saying "Hey, sorry if I disturbed you, but this is my number, so call me back if you want, on your convince."?

Ladies, what do you suggest?

my dog ACCIDENTLY had a peice of chocolate so i posted on here to ask questions & this lady replied saying that she is gonna call the SPCA telling them i am trying to poison my dog!!!!! We got into an agrugement today because i want to go to a waterpark with MY friends that i know are trustworthy. My mom said she doesnt trust them, she's so racist, unless my friends are Hawwiian, she wont let me go out with any of them because im hawwiian.

I know my friends and i know i can trust them because i've known them for so long. We're just going to a waterpark and it makes me mad, she never lets me go anywhere, im always stuck in the house doing nothing, im probably going to turn into a boring person like my parents.

How can i go out and experince life if shes always keeping me in the house? I never get socialzed with other kids. I blame her..she is wrong for this and she knows it. She cant always keep me in the house forever. They're my friends and im bout to blow out and cry because she never listens to my side of the story or lets me go out with my friends.

I know how to take care of myself and she doesnt even know my friends like that to judge them. I really want

I have just recently found a spider in my house and i have tryed to find what type of spider it is.
Description: the head is shaped kinda like a spade on a card and on his head it looks like a three leaf clover His butt or whatever you call it is pointed at the end and it looks like it had two dents in it. The color is light and dark browns. The bottom of the spider is a really light brown

I was diagnosed with andropause. I was on tesosterone shots for 6 months. My endocrinologist pulled me off of them so they can determine the cause. I have been off the shots for 3 months and now I am experiencing mild diziness and feel moody. I am wondering if there is a connection.
