I have an 8 year old cat...he is fine around our dog..doesn't eat our bird or turtle. Sweet as can be. He has lived with other cats before that we had, and even with four other cats when staying at my mothers house. We found a cat yesterday and its about 7 months old or so...now we know first meetings between cats are rough but they always get over it and become pals. Last night we did first intro's, my old cat...Freaked. It was like the devil on speed. I have never seen him act like this before. He completely tore up my husbands hand and he needed stitches. Why would my cat after all this time freak like that with a new cat even if he has previous experiences with other animals and cats. Its not a male male thing because ALL my other cats before were males too. Never had a problem. Any suggestions or homeopatich calming tablets I can give my adult cat to help with the transition? All suggestions welcome. Getting rid of either cat is not an option and we will see this threw.

It is now proven that Global Warming is caused by normal changes in the Sun. The Sun cycle is going into a high emission stage. So why are they blaming it on carbon emissions and man made causes? We have never experienced global change due to the Sun's output but that is what is happening. There have been multiple ice ages during periods of low output and many occured before man and carbon release. There have also been periods in the past with severe droughts and Arctic ice melts. Why must we be subjected to this rediculous propaganda?

It is obvious this is nothing more than a political lobbyist push by Big Oil companies to create a global tax on fuels and rape us at the pump and on our utilities!

What is your take on this issue?

My mum is 50 years old and had been smoking for nearly 16 years. about 6 months ago she had terrible pains in her legs. she went to the doctors and they said it was viral and gave her antibiotics but it didn't help. The pain is actually getting worse as she can't lie down on her side or walk or even stand for to long with out agonising pain in her legs. has anyone got any ideas as to what it is or maybe what is causing it? thanks!

i only have 2 months for maturnaty leave. i would like to breast feed but not sure if going back to work will make me have to choose fulmula feeding instead, since i would be away from 6 am until about 6pm. what should i do, not sure if i could pump as much as i would need and will it drain me. or is formula just a better option.

Okay. You're probably thinking there was something interesting in the bag right? There was - boxes of jello that I bought at the store yesterday. He was interested in the bag when I first brought it home and I left the jello in the bag because I am going to use them for something. So today there were holes chewed in the bag. So I went over there while he was trying to get into it and dumped out the boxes of jello. He was not interested in them at all. All he wanted was the bag and when I turned the bag inside out he began licking it! It was a brand new bag from Walmart, and he wasn't interested in any of the other bags!

my ten year old Jake, hit a kid who tried to kiss my 9 year old daughter, Sylvee. i appreciate the fact that he's looking out for her, but my husband and i don't promote violence. should we punish him.
