England can definitely make a claim having defeated the Germans in the '66 World Cup finals 4-2. Most of the good German players including Lehmann and Ballack play in the EPL. Finally, the first 2 times the teams played each othe the English won 13-2 and 10-2.

The last time I heard Germany refer to someone as glorious. It was that guy that lost to Jessie Owens. Any more questions?

Correction, Germany have never won the World Cup. They did win the European Championship once, in 1996. Check your facts.
