Trish McEvoy has the best foundation brush I have ever used. It has the synthetic bristles, but at the same time it is not very stiff so it gives and moves easily and is very soft on the skin. The application always comes out perfect. They are a little pricey, but well worth it. They have a nice brush bath too. Other brands that I like for foundation brushes are: prescriptives and MAC (mac has a square-shaped one, but it's really good- I still prefer the Trish McEvoy one though). I think they sell trish McEvoy at Nordstrom.com or Bloomingdales.com. Actually, all of their brushes are top-notch. I just wish I could afford them all.

Liquid foundation: QUO Brushes

Loose powder foundation: Bare Escentuals Kabuki Brush (Goat-Hair brush)

Powder compact foundation: QUO Brushes

Or you can pay more for the expensive kind that has soft goat hair in it... Try sephora.com for a range of brushes. :)

I have a foundation brush from Presriptives. You can also get quality makeup brushes from Sephora or MAC.

QUO is the best. u can buy it at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada....and probably any major drug store in the U.S. its pretty multi purpose, i use it for liquid and cream foundations and my friend uses it for powder foundation.

keep the brush clean, wash it every month in luke warm water and soap...leave it in the solution for like 20 mins and after drying it, dip it in alcohol for sanitization. ur brush will last for years...:) good luck!

MAC has the best brushes I have ever used. They are a little pricey, but they work great.
