I tend to lean towards the idea that we can never have an actual infinity, only a potential infinity. For example, let's say our universe is never going to cease to exist, fine. But, we are never going to actually get to that point, because if we were, we couldn't add any time, because infinity can't be added to, you can't add a year to infinity.

I love to eat fish, but it seems that nowadays, people say that ALL fish have mercury in it. Is there any known scientific way to isolate all this stray mercury so we can eat without fear of dying all the time?

Yeah this might be quite confusing. But sometimes when I stare into the mirror or I'm lying in bed, I suddenly realize that..I am me. And I'm like aware of everything that's happening. It's almost as if your shocked to realize that you are you. And then I sort of think, why am I here? And it's so overwhelming, because you realize that you have achieved so much, to get to where you are. I don't even know how to describe the feeling.
Try it one day though. Look in the mirror, for a long time and dig deep into yourself and think. It's so crazy.

On CBS, on tonight's episode of Numbers, the character Charlie Epps said that a JFK assisination conspiracy would be mathematically impossible given the number of people who would have been involved.

If this statement is true, then:

How did the government keep the development of the A-bomb a secret (Manhattan Project)?

Given the amount of contradictory evidence, how can anyone still support the Warren Commission report on the assassination of JFK?

Why is mass media defaming all challenges to historical events as "conspiracy theory"?

Isn't the governments 9/11 "consipiracy theory" the most unbelievable of them all?

The other day I was reading an article printed in “The Hindustan Times” dated 1st March 20007 naming “Forget Her Not”. It was a story about a woman named “Iroma Sharmila Chanu”, who has been on a fast for more than six years now protesting against the “Armed Forces Special Power Act” (AFSPA) in Manipur. She began when she was 28. She is 34 now. The AFSPA gives the armed forces unchallenged powers to arrest, search, shoot and kill on suspicion alone. It has been grossly misused in Manipur for past 49 years. Army officials have raped women in front of their families. Many people have simply disappeared only to be found later with bullets in their bodies.
The uncertainty and trauma of living in such an atmosphere is something that we can’t understand. In any case, how can we understand when we are never even told about it? Sharmila began her fast in Manipur but came to India in 2006.

I have cats and the hubby and I were thinking of getting a dog down the road sometime. I like great danes and know they do well with cats. My newborn (16 days old) has just recently started to eat and eat less then every hour. She will eat for 30 minutes or more sleep for not even 10 minutes wake up and cry wanting to eat again. Once I feed her again she will sleep for less then 10 minutes again wake up wanting more. This has been going on all day and i'm worried i'm overfeeding her. Is this possible? Or am I just worrying for no reason?

Maybe the movies are graphically violent, perhaps, because the novel was, but is it really necessary to make them that graphically violent?
