Jesus return will bring an end to life on earth as we know it today. As to when...the Bible does not make that clear. It says that only God himself knows the actual day and hour. We are given the signs of those times and many people today do believe that the signs have been fulfilled so are waiting anxiously for Christ.
According to Christian beliefs, when Jesus returns, he will fight the final battle with Satan and his followers and will defeat them. Satan will be bound and thrown into the pit for a period of a thousand years. (This is called the millineum reign of Christ) During that time, Christ himself will rule the earth and will be present with believers. It is my understanding that at the end of the thousand years, everyone will face judgement and those found not favorable with Jesus will be cast in to the lake of fire for all eternity.
Just a comment about something else you said...you said that you had never done anything wrong...Have you ever lied? Have you ever wished harm to someone because they angered you? Have you ever wanted something that someone else had? Have you ever been lustful? Have you ever stolen as little as a paperclip or a rubber band from your place of employment...or taken a buck or two from Dad or Mom's billfold? Have you ever disrepected your parents? Have you ever used the name of God as a swear word? If you have ever done any of these, you have sinned. Repent means to be sorry for what you have done. Are you?

If you were to take a snap shot of today's person and show it to people even 100-200 years ago, let alone all of history past, most of the people in the past would condemn today's people. Look at some of the responses you received to this question: people are so vacant, yet attribute to themselves some sort of worth...their self importance is just an illusion. If you're dissing Christ, you have no worth.
There is a God and He's not just apple and spice and everything nice, He's also Judge, Jury, and Executioner. Jesus is His Name. And though you scoff at it, your clock keeps ticking and in due season, without Jesus, you will die, you will go to hell. And yes, it is a real place.

Jesus “shows up” takes the people who followed his commandments to heaven, also known as the Rapture. Millions of people are gone from the face of the Earth. The world is in chaos. Millions of “Christians” those that thought they were saved are running around knowing that they missed “IT”. Things are looking grim. The Lord pours out his wrath on the wicked giving them one last chance to repent and follow his ways, but few do. After seven years of War, Famine, Disease and Chaos, only 1/5th of the world’s population is left alive. Jesus comes back and binds Satan and his followers. Jesus reins on earth for 1000 years also known as the Millennium Reign. After the Millennium Reign, Satan is released. Even though the people lived in complete peace and harmony with the Creator of the Universe for 1000 years, uncountable numbers follow the Beast and the Final Battle is fought. Satan/Beast and his followers lose. Everyone is judged and is rewarded or condemned for their actions.
That’s what’s going happen. I know many people are going to disagree with the order of these events, but I am not a Biblical Scholar, so please forgive any mistakes.
You keep hearing “REPENT, REPENT”, repenting is not enough, God knows all your sins, He wants you to acknowledge the fact that you have sinned. If you truly believe you didn’t do anything wrong, then you are saying that everything you have done in your life is “right”, and that you are holly and without sin. Look back at your life; can you say that about yourself? None of us can, that is why we need God’s grace. Jesus is coming back, the rapture is coming. You can chose to believe it or not. Whatever you choose, it effects how you spent eternity.
Look around you. Really look around you. Deep down you now that God is real. Deep down you know you are a sinner. Everyone has sinned. You need to do more then just repent; you need to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your savior. He died so we wouldn’t have to and He’s coming back.
How will YOU greet Him?

To Christians all creation is aimed at human salvation. First humans separated themselves from God, then Jesus came to show people how to reconnect with God. (Now we're in a phase where if we choose to follow Christ's teaching we can reconnect with God.) The final Act will be Jesus' return which will mark the end of life on earth according to Christian thought. That's sort of the end of the show when we know who is saved and who chose not to be.
To really learn about this, you need to not pre-judge Christianity, which is quite sophisticated in its ideas and beliefs. Read the bible and the writings of authors like C.S. Lewis. You can read this closely and even somewhat skeptically, but if you don't open your mind some you're wasting your time.

All the religions would call Jesus a liar and a fake. After all, he would probably select his father's favorite religion and the rest would have to go out of business. They are all making too much money and don't want anyone to "upset the apple cart". I don't care who his relatives are, he wouldn't stand a chance.

Then he will be in Israel.... and he'll be at the homeless shelter and help feed the people and healing the sick...
and preaching about God in Hebrew language.
Then someone like Judas, might tell on him... and
then people all over the world will and even Pope might
visit him... and some might laugh at him... and some
other people especially the sick will chase after him, begging him to heal them... He won't ever have any peace...
And then someone will assassinate him.

No one knows but God when Jesus will come for the last coming. The significance will be resurrection of the dead, the last judgement and the Reign of God.
