2 years ago I took in a male DB Yellow Head Amazon who was neurotic and had been kept, as I was told, for 7 years in his 2'x2'x3' cage (1 sm. perch, a squeeky baby toy and a chew toy) with little human contact and the method the person took to get him back to the cage was to chase him with a stick or perch. I knew he was going to need time but I didn't know how nasty he was. He attacks me when I clean the cage, when I give him food/water and he flies at us when he is out of his cage to attack. With time he moved into a larger cage with more toys and then he moved himself into my other DB.Y.H.'s cage which is ruffly 5'x4'x2' a few months ago. He is no longer neurotic but he is still nasty. I have gave him time, treats,I allways talk to him, and I have resorted to wraping my hand and arm in thick material he cant bite threw to show him I am not going to back away when he attacks. I have read many topics on this all which say give time but does anyone have a idea that may calm him down?

I wouldn't mind getting Windows Vista, but I don't want the hassle of any problems, bugs, gltiches, etc. I also don't want to get it now if it will be significantly changed in a new edition in a year or something.

So should I get it now...?

Or wait 6 to 12 months?

I am thinking about painting my sons bedroom hardwood floor. Has anyone done this? What type of paint did you use, also what type of sealer should I use as this room has heavy foot traffic and desk chair that will be moved frequently. Any help or info appreciated.

I met this girl about 3 months ago. I wasn't immediately attracted to her; but we became really close really fast. She's been with the same guy for a long time; I chose not to do anything, but I started becoming very attracted to her, but I knew I shouldn't do anything.

So when this other girl asked me out, I said yes. She's cool too, pretty, fun to be with, we have things in common....yet, I can't stop thinking about the first girl, it has almost come to the point of being an obsession, problem is...now we're very good friends...

I was suppose to have dinner today with the first girl, but she had to cancel; I was looking forward to having dinner with her. The first girl is now on a break from her boyfriend. I care more about the first girl than the girl I am going out with now...

What should I do?

...bottom of the screen when i need to be looking at someones expression.

why cant we see [for instance] the words appearing one by on next to the persons mouth..or just above their head so that even though you still have to read the words...they appear so close on the screen to the face of the persons face that is speaking them, that you can keep track of their face through periferal vision...or just by flicking from one to the other, as they would be next to each other in the same section of the screen.

surely this would be a vast improvement on words at the bottom of the screen...and shouldnt be that difficult to accomplish?

Hello! I need some help w/an issue that is driving my husband and i apart. We are a family of 5, soon to be 6, in a small home. My husbands 2 Weimaraners also live IN the home. The male is 104 lbs, the female 85. I want the dogs to be outside dogs, my husband says it is WHITE TRASH to have dogs in your backyard! Then why were kennels and dog houses created? It is unfair to me, because having them in the house is like having 2 extra kids. I am a stay at home Mom, so they are with me all day every day. They take up limited space, and get no excersize, except for 1/2 hr. a day supervised outside. (No fence yet, either!) They are almost 1 1/2 yrs. old and driving me crazy! My husband refuses to move them outside. He says he will take the dogs over me any day, and that I can move out! I do not want 2 giant dogs in my house when the new baby comes! How am i being unreasonble? I'm also stuck with their crates in my living room. He says we'll get a fence, but they'll still live inside. Advice?
