My Navy recruiter had me write 3 hand written statements about the incident's which all occured in 1998, he said he will give these hand written statements to his chief, and hopefully get a waiver, so I can elist...is there a good or bad chance he will get this waiver approved so I can join??

They want to redefine words like 'marriage', 'terrorism', 'patriot', etc... They teach in the schools that Nixon started Vietnam and not Camelot Jack and that Nixon, but not Clinton, was impeached. Already they try to say WMDs (another word they try to re-define) were never found in Iraq and THAT was the only reason the US legally (under International law and per UN resolution) Iraq.

Are they trying to emulate Stalinism or are they too lazy to research history, and just got it from 1984? It couldn't be any more obvious unless they changed their name to INGSOC.

(Oppositional Defiant Disorder) How can I learn different strategies to deal with him in school and help him do better with his work. I am a teacher's aide and I only have to monitor one child because the rest of the class does well and don't have a 504 like he does. He has ODD & ADHD. How can I get him to do his work without having to fight with him or have him be so defiant or so disruptive to his classmates? I am studying to be a teacher and I would like to know I have helped this child is some way or another. I have tried so many things with him, I have not yet found anything that works and I'm starting to get very fustrated with myself for not being able to to control or lessen his behaviors for the Teacher's sake. I want him to do well and I want him to make an effort into trying and know that he his able to do anything anyone else can in his class if he just tries. He makes no effort with himself and I feel bad that I can't get him to do it for himself and for his future.

threw the hole in her bagel. Then I came home from school and she was drilling a hole threw the wall. When I asked her what she was doing she said 'Ah, fixing the shower theres a leak in it.' What do you think she's up to? I mean, her caretaker only left her alone for 5 minutes to throw out the bag of sandwhich meat she wasted trying to fashion an undergarment.

i am very tall and thin and its hard for me to find jeans that fit. i have been wearing american eagle jeans but after i've worn them for a few hours they start to sag around the butt and theighs and get extremely baggy. i really don't want to get skinny jeans, but are there any cheaps jeans (abercrombie, pacsun ect..) that will fit nicely without bagging? btw, i'm 15.

I just picked up my car, a SEAT from the garage and the fella was fixing up a Jensen inter (something )car.. it was gorgeous, he was telling me they do 12 miles to the gallon..but what a car.

I've never heard of Jensen, where are they from and what was it an inter????

They were playing with barbies and my 5 year old wanted the same barbie as her so she grabbed it away. My two year old started crying and my five ear old just hit her. My 2 year old than attemted to grab it and my 5 year old took the big barbie doll house and crshed it on the 2 year olds head! my ten year old was watching them and attemting to stop when she ran to get me. My 2 year old was laying on the ground screaming and her face was bright red. My 5 year old was sitting on the couch with a "I am in trouble" look. My two year old cied and cried for about 2 hours when she finally calmed down. When she calmed down my 10 year old told me the whole thing. My two year oold has a bruise on her head. I know that because whenever I put ppick tails iin she crys. There is also a bruise in her cut.

We recently got a baby Cinnamon mutation Green Cheek Conure. She (dna'd) can be very sweet, and loves head rubs. But when you put your hands in her cage she screeches like she thinks she is a bird of prey (thats what it reminds me of anyhow). Is it cuz she is a baby (hatched on 11/21/06) or do they always act like this? I am hoping she (Mecca) will grow out of it with age. And they have some very sharp beaks so we get startled and pull our hands away. The avaiary we got her from said that she was well socialized, yet when she first perched on us there she was all nippy and stuff. So I am not sure how much socialization they did with her. I know avairies are very busy with all the hand feeding, so I am a bit disapointed that she is not more tame. We drove four hours to get her, and we can barely handle her. Any green cheek owners have the same problem, and how did you over come it??

This question is in context to Tim Hardaway and John Amaechi meeting on the Oprah show ... Amaechi said "I'd agree to it, so it won't be on me," responding to rumors that such a meeting could take place on Oprah Winfrey's show. "It's certainly something I'd be interested in doing. And I think everybody deserves a chance at redemption." ... now, Tim may need to redeem himself for the comments he made (I go by the old addage, if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it), but isn't it ok to "not" like someone, or a group? I feel like they are trying to change Tims mind about gays, and isnt that really the problem? if he doenst like gays, so be it ... and in a sense, shouldn't he be thanked for his honesty, and everyone can move on ... and who cares how he feels about gays anyway ... is this the reverse of what many gays hate themselves? ... someone trying to convince them that their way of thinking is wrong
