Hmmm, I'm just wondering what the "urgent" issue is here? I mean,.. If you're willing to COUNT raisins to measure out a quarter cup,.. 'sounds a little obsessive,.. but,.. 'none of my business:

First of all,.. you won't need a SCALE to measure out a CUP of raisins, or anything else. Scales measure WEIGHT, the "cup" is a VOLUME unit.

SO,..

What you need is a MEASURING CUP. If you don't have one, they are not expensive, go ahead and buy one. It sounds like something that you might use AGAIN & AGAIN,.. So the purchase can be justified,.. especially if it'll save you some grief about things like COUNTING RAISINS.
