They want to redefine words like 'marriage', 'terrorism', 'patriot', etc... They teach in the schools that Nixon started Vietnam and not Camelot Jack and that Nixon, but not Clinton, was impeached. Already they try to say WMDs (another word they try to re-define) were never found in Iraq and THAT was the only reason the US legally (under International law and per UN resolution) Iraq.

Are they trying to emulate Stalinism or are they too lazy to research history, and just got it from 1984? It couldn't be any more obvious unless they changed their name to INGSOC.

Great point, it goes to show how the li(e)beral political machine works.

Liberals:

-Hate freedom (gun control, big government)
-Love slavery (high taxes, death taxes)

No.

The PC movement gets its behaviour from the Republicans and Joe McCarthy, but the phenomenon of political correctness goes back at least to the Roman Republic, where Cato and Cicero turned name calling and political lies into an art form.

Neither Nixon or Kennedy started the Viet Nam war, you poorly educated person. The USA entered that war late, as usual, after the French pulled out, when Eisenhower was president. Kennedy initially supported the buildup, but by the time he was killed he was leaning heavily towards disengagement. Johnson and Nixon both supported the war, and it only ended because there was a war in the streets about it.

Nixon would have been impeached for obstruction of justice, and he was guilty by his own admission. It is so typical of a republican to compare that misuse of office to Clinton's sexual lapses and the ensuing crucifixion attempts by the partisan GOP, but you are confusing the issue with Orwellian half truths yourself.

Were there ever any pictures of WMDs? No! That is because there were none, and Bush either was fooled or lied. Further, had there been WMDs it would still be running hourly on FOX news. The GOP lies about this daily, and it only hurts their credibility.

You cite Orwell and Stalin to discredit the democrats, and then use the very tactics of misrepresentation and the big lie to do it. Chutpah lives.

As for your remarks about being too lazy to research, go look in a mirror. This historian says you lie.

So many points, so few facts. THEY? Who is this great THEY that teaches in schools? Camelot Jack? That was cute. We had troops there before he was president. Did you forget? Or did you just try to rewrite history? Granted, he did increase it greatly, but as to starting it, no. Redifining all those words...wow. WMD was not the reason liberals gave or defined. It was Bush's. I can say this because I heard him and believed him and supported him, at first. Then he began to talk about removing Sadaam was good so that made it okay to invade a sovereign nation. Forgot to mention what WMD's were found(you and he forgot).

To emulate Stalinism they would have to expose their enemies in politics, kill off those that oppose them, and install fear as the basis for many policies. Sound familiar?

You are a sick man and need some help. Look at history with open eyes instead of conspiracy laden eyes.

Find a tower.

Take Care.

You have so many questions I don't know where to begin. Today's liberalism is not to be confused w/ socialism; liberals today are really progressives that want to move this country forward into the 21st. century, while conservatives aim at conserving its archaic "pull yourselves up by the bootstraps" mentality.
As far as "revisionist" history goes that is something only constructed by "conservatives" that aim at conserving the truth from the people not to liberate it.
Also "terrorism" is a word that the conservatives actually reconstructed to fit a broad scope of acts that include people like those in the civil rights movement exercising their right to democracy by non-violent resistance.
The PC movement came about after the work of the great people in the human rights movement to help people bridge the stereotypes that enforce concepts like segregation (which you are probably pro).
And lastly how can liberalism be equated w/ Stalinism when conservatives are so unarguably comparable to Nazism?

Not Stalin, but Marx as seen through the eyes of Lenin. Marxism must always redefine the language of debate. In to days universities the term hiearcyies is used to define any inequity that exists between the races, and genders in America, as if in 2007 these things even exist. Racist policies are now affirmative action, tax increases are revenue enhancement, etc ,etc. Sprinkle in a little social Darwinism, used so well by the Nazis to justify their racial policies and you have the recipe of modern liberalism

Conservatives do the same thing. Seems like you're turning a blind eye to their word games for some reason.

I do know history and you're playing fast and loose with the facts. I would go into detail but facts aren't something you're interested in. You just want to slam liberals, whether the facts support your assertions or not.

i agree 100%. they are insane. they like to do and say whatever fits their agenda. truth or untruth. mainly untruth, or twisted truth. they hate history, or else they would understand why we are in Iraq and why we can't just cut-and-run (which they tend to do alot). i say it all the time, and i'll say it again. liberalism is a mental disorder.
