We are planning a private ceremony in a couple of months and need a non-Christian officiator who works for cheap. Does anyone know of one? Or how do I find one? I have searched the internet, but get very few results.

Email me. I will be making a trip to both Springfield & Columbus this month & next. Sure we could work something out. I am Christian but do civil ceremonies as well. I just don't do voodoo.
If this isn't what you want to do..................

To find an officiant type into Yahoo your city, state & wedding officiant (no 's' onthe end) You will have a few to choose from, usually on the 2nd page. The larger bridal sites seem to get top biling. If you do go to the bridal sites, please visit the site of someone you think you might like. Those bridal sitems make vendors & officiants pay for youe contact info so you may not hear back from someone you'd hoped.

Hey a really cool idea here...if you have a good friend...there are places that will ordain him/her as a minister over the internet "Universal Church" or something like that...just a small fee.

Not sure about Ohio, but it is legal for him/her to marry you in Texas at least, may be in Ohio too.

Well i don't live in Columbus but i am sure if you call a wedding consultant they could probably tell you.Just act like your interested in some of there merchandise and then ask them you question, and if you really aren't interested then you got your answer, but if it turns out you are interested in what they have to offer then you killed two birds with one stone.
