A clergyman walking down a country lane and sees a young farmer struggling to load hay back onto a cart after it had fallen off.

"You look hot, my son," said the cleric. "why don't you rest a moment, and I'll give you a hand."

"No thanks," said the young man.

"My father wouldn't like it."

"Don't be silly," the minister said.

"Everyone is entitled to a break. Come and have a drink of water."

Again the young man protested that his father would be upset. Losing his patience, the clergyman said, "Your father must be a real slave driver. Tell me where I can find him and I'll give him a piece of my mind!"

"Well," replied the young farmer, "he's under the load of hay."

I love using home-made educational games and have made well over 1000 games while teaching my three children. I am now working with my grandsons. I also teach workshops on making games for learning. I would love to hear about educational games others have made and use in their homeschool.

I really want to go blond for my hair color. Most people I've talked to say it would look fine, because I'm already dark-skinned. I was looking for a golden blond type deal. My only concern would be the impact on my hair. Someone told me it would turn red and I will have wasted my money. Is this true? Should I be ok to dye my hair blond?

Suppose I talk to a priest who says X, and I talk to a scientist who says Y. The next week, I talk to the priest again, and he says X again; but when I talk to the scientist again, he says Z. Obviously, the scientist was either wrong the first time, wrong the second time, or wrong both times!

With that in mind, doesn't it make more sense to trust the priest, who is either right 100% of the time or wrong 100% of the time, than to trust the scientist whose ideas are always changing based on the evidence?

In other words, isn't someone's trustworthiness based on how often he changes his mind, rather than how much evidence is on his side?

i really love to watch horror movies but nothing has really gotten up there and scared me really badly except the Texas Chainsaw Massiqure (how ever you spell it) the new one... it was good and then again me and my friend watch the saw moives 1/2 and they were pretty good too. This is the first month that I'm taking birth control. I started taking it the day I finished my period and I just took my 4th inactive pill today. I'm still getting use to how everythings suppose to work and I was trying to figure out when I'm suppose to get my period?

I've been taking it regularily, havn't missed any days, and havn't been taking anything else to make it less effective. Once this month we ended up using the pull out method, probally about a week ago. But I've started to get a little bit of cramps and my usually mood swings already. When shoould I be expecting it?

ive been reading alot of Q&A about the mirena IUD. i had mine inserted 2 days ago..i had alot of painful cramping during and after insertion. today- i have normal period type cramps ( this is day 3 of my period) im reading alot about it coming out of place and people getting pregnant... im starting to question my decision to get the IUD. my gyno said i have an enlarged uterus...so i pray that it doesnt interfear with the "security" of my IUD... just looking for some opinions on this...oh yeah, my period has been alot lighter than normal YAY
