Of course. I have a little Irish in me, but the point is not to be Irish, as it is to have a good time respecting another country, and their myth's. I have a great time during St. Patrick's Day! I get to pinch people who don't wear green!

Yes even though I'm Native American I wear green if I can remember it's St. Patricks day.

I am not Irish the other 364; I am not Irish on March 17th.
St. Patrick's Day is not even celebrated in Ireland.
I think it is an excuse for Americans (Irish decent or not) to go out and drink even more than normal.

Irish..I do not wear green that day...patrick did nothing good for Celtic history..burned books..did away with Ancient Faiths...deligated women to a second class status..he was not a saint..

I'm Irish and I don't always wear green because it's a color I don't really have anything of...I just don't like the color green!

As one of your answerers said, everyone's Irish on March 17. My real problem is that I refuse to drink green beer, eat donuts with green frosting, green eggs...etc. Clothes, OK. Food, NO!
