White folks seem to have it a lot better than them there africans with their famines and disease and starvation and all. What god would let such suffering occur? I say a non-existant one.

If you receive your paycheck as direct deposit and you have recurring electronic debits that occur at the same time, your bank (like National City Bank) takes the debits FIRST and then the credits so that you could be potentially overdrawn. Then, they nail you with high overdraft fees, one fee per incident. When asked why I was overdrawn for 2 Bill Pay (electronic bill payments) and knew that my paycheck was electronically deposited before the debits, National City Bank of Indiana advised me that their "system recognizes debits before credits" and therefore you are overdrawn and charged the high fees per incident. This truly bites and I'll bet most of you are not aware of this practice. Needless to say, I have adjusted my recurring Bill Pay to compensate. Please let me know I am not the only one aware of this practice!

I am having problems with the new card that I purchased. It’s an X1950Pro made by HIS. Basically what’s happened is that when I tried doing the drives the way the instructions say to do it, when everything was done installing, the computer froze except for being able to move the mouse and then the monitor went black. The computer was still on and running, but the monitor’s led was blinking like the computer was off. I had to crash the computer in order to get it to reboot. I turned the computer back on and was never able to get the monitor to show a picture.

I put my old card back in and just let windows give it drivers. I uninstalled all software that had to do with ATI, including the drivers.

More info to come, went over 1000 words.

It is a 20gallong freshwater tank, only 2 fish at the moment, been set up for about 2 months. Yesterday I put in Algae Destroyer, Ick Clear (I believe the fish have Ick), put a new BioFilter in the pump and pH Correct (pH and Buffer is low). There are live plants in the tank. Today it is very foggy, did I go too far yesterday?

Serious answers only. It's a simple question, that almost anyone can answer. I know I watch t.v. in the morning. If you're not watching t.v. at this very second, what do you normally watch before school or work?

By the way.. I've asked this question once before, and had a few answers from people trying to be cute and saying it's a dumb question, since they don't/can't multi-task lol.. None of those today please :P

I am having a baby on May 25th. At the Middle of August my family and I (husband is in the Army) are moving to Baumholder Germany. I was wondering does anyone know how an infants passport works or If they need one or if you just need their ss card and birth certificate. Also has anyone been stationed there and is it a good place for a family? also, we have to turn in all of our papers here in the next month to get my husbands command sponsorship and the baby wont be born yet to get the physical for the paperwork, does anyone know if there is exceptions or if you are delayed in moving when there is an impending birth? Any info would be helpful as my husband is overseas right now and I am kind of confused with the details. Fort knox sent me via email all kinds of forms but did not answer any of these questions.

I believe that disease is somthing that you will get from outside enviroment, like it rains and you get a cold, or somebody sneezes and you catch the flu or other infections. But Obesity is something you do to yourself, unless you have a disease that causes obesity (you know what I mean (like diabetics, ...). So is Obesity really a disease, or is it just a result of what you eat?

I am working for a UK company in the US and have been in NY with an L1 visa since September 2001 with my family. The company's immigration lawyer filed an I-140 and I-485 last May and we are waiting for green card approval which we are told we should receive in about a month's time. I have heard a strong rumour that I could possibly lose my job soon. We are an 'at will' company so it is easier to be let people go without reason. Once we have green card approval, can I get another job in the US or do I lose residency status? Once we are approved do I still have to stay with my company for 180 days before getting another job or is it 180 days from filing?
