I always use a rule of thumb: 1litre = 10kWhrs

So you have 1000kWhrs

A medium house runs at about 20kWatts
so you have about 50 hours of oil or about 10 days.

This is all very much rule of thumb but you can see how to get an approximate time with the number of radiators * their power that you will use. (2 to 3 kW per habitable room)

in basic terms thank you to acknowledge for particular is to place a predetermined volume into the tank on the initiating of the week then examine and spot how plenty is left on the top. Then take the 275 and divide via this volume and additionally you need to have a competent estimate of what proportion weeks it is going to final.( Tip place degree marks as you pour on the exterior of tank so which you have a reference element to degree as you pour it in, how plenty is interior the tank so which you do no longer ought to drain it to get the degree.) I dont have a Heating oil equipment, yet i could think of this could be a competent way of going approximately it. :)
