I left my ex many years ago; he was unfaithful during the relationship, that lasted seven years. I still love him, tried so hard to forget him, went off and married and had children - but he is 'the one'. I'm not getting over him, I don't want to. He married and had children too. We meet, every year, and have a few days together, where the passion and intensity are still there. I can't bear it when it's over, at first felt suicidal - and then realised that I needed to just take care of myself afterwards and slowly get back to normal life. I miss him so much...but I couldn't take being with him, he was going with other women so much. I feel like I have changed from the role of wife to mistress. It hasn't got better, except that I have still some pride. I didn't want to leave him, but one day sat down and said to myself, do it for pride, if nothing else. I always wanted his child, nothing came of it though. Anyone else in the same situation? I've never met anyone who is.

Hi,

Can anyone suggest any Crime Scene Investigation books. I dont want fictional ones, or ones that talk about famous murderes etc. I need more of a book that says why certain finger print techniques are used and what to look for in murder scenes or burglaries, and also what ridge detail you should look for in finger prints.

I hope this makes sense.

I want to embed my computer id(unique id) in a MS excel worksheet.
Every time i open the worksheet the computer id should be validated and only then i should be able to use the worksheet. Also this worksheet should not open in any other computer with a different computer id. How can i do this?

Enzyme 1 has km=5, specific activity = 103 u/mg

Enzyme 2 has km=130, specific activity = 811 u/mg

Let us simulate conditions in the stomach where there is excess of substrate such that all enzymes are continually saturated, and the products are constantly taken away.

Which is more effecient? For a given period of time, which one would end up with more products?

I am expecting enzyme 2 would have more products because of the higher specific activity. Am I right in assuming this? I have no idea how the km value would affect the efficiencies of the enzymes.

Ive been with my girl for 1yr and i have told her i love her, but she said she doesnt believe in love but yea...and she wants to go to school in a Diff. country. We are both virgins and if/when we do stay together and the thought of her leaving for 4yrs. becomes real. Is it wrong for me to ask her about the possibility about havning sex? I dont want to make it sound like im a dog, cuz i am also a virgin and Sex is not why im with her, im with her for her morals, but if she wants to try and make it work will it be wrong for me to bring up? I dont want it to sound like we have to cuz shes leaving, but if we both can say we love eachother and such am i wrong? Keep in mind that nothing in our 1 yr. has been brought up about sex and none of us said anything about waiting till marrage.

Whether it is duties at the border, the tarrifs from American-made bikes, the cost of buying a bike in Canada is sometimes prohibitive of the likely bike enthusiast to put the pedal to the metal.

So why is it that Canadians pay so much more to hit the pavement on two wheels than four -- gas prices here in Canada, but not Ontario at the moment, are comparable to the United States' gas prices, and in some cases lower. This is inexcusable, there needs to be some barriers dropped if the cycling community is to thrive... why isn't there something being done to strike down what could be, for Canadians, something as enjoyable as playing outdoor street hockey, which requires a measly tennis ball and hockey sticks, or any other sport out there.

What can a lone Canadian do to fight these outrageous expenses to enjoy something that should be cheap, affordable and non-prohibitive?

I'm someone who lives close to the border, should I border hop or is there an alternative?
