Like they let them eat out if the same plate with them, they kiss them on the mouth and sleep with them. Do they want to be buried next to them as well? thank God they are not having sexual intercourse with them (or are they?)

I guess that some people just do not have very fulfilling personal relationships, or maybe have lost their loved ones and the pet is a replacement. Maybe the relationship with their pet is the closest personal relationship they have right now.

I think that mentioning sexual relationships with pets is kinda sick, and I haven't ever heard of this, even with the pet obsessed people I have known.

If they want to be buried with their beloved pets, who cares? Who are we to judge anyone elses desicions or choices?

LOL I guess every owner is different. Most people treat their pets like family. You can bond with an animal the same as you bond with a human. With that in mind...the activities you mentioned above are not abnormal. Its almost the same as me giving my daughter a kiss before bed or letting her steal a goodie off of my plate.

Yes...sex with your pet would be extremely creepy/disgusting and I do not recommend it. haha

I suppose if you don't think animals are "part of the family" than you probably shouldn't own a pet?

Well my dog is one of my best friends. I just love him thats all, but I do kiss him and sometimes he sneaks into by bed and sleeps with me, but theres a limit. But, I think one reason why people are so obsessed with their pets is because they simply love them, and care for them, or think of them as a person, more than the average pet owner.

I love my 1 dog, mutt, and my 2 cats because of the bond between us. If you haven't experienced this, then I feel sorry for you as something may be wrong with your heart for saying what you said.

I love my cats because who else beats on my bedroom door at 3:30 AM.

I love my dog because who else is fixated on what room of the house I am in and has to close to me.

Actually, It is indescribable, the love between a pet owner and the pet. You have to experience yourself. BUT I warn you, they require a lot of attention and a lot of time and occasionally , A LOT OF MONEY.

well some people love there pets as there own kids no i don't eat out of there same dish lol or let them eat of my dish lol, or have sex with them heck no but my animals are my companions they treat you better then a lot of people would animals can't cuss you out they always love you for who you are and they don't care if your fat or ugly skinny or beautiful. they don't care , you feed them and take care of them and love them , animals respect that and they give there affection back the best they can. Animals can help people relive stress they are many that are service type animals that can help people in every day needs.

my horse, rabbit, and dog are all members of my family. i love them all and i get love in return. having a animal in your life lets you experience love without limits... love not based on looks, attitude, actions, or age.

it's a rare thing to find a person that can love as unconditionally as a pet can. when you come home from having a bad day at the office and your greeted with links and wet noses it seems to make that bad day a little brighter.

a horse can love in as well and any dog and a rabbit can return my love as well. they don't eat off my plate, i don't have sex with them, and my horse doesn't sleep on my bed but they are members of my family.

having someone depend on you for food, water, and affection also strengthens the bonds between owner and pets. the desire to please, the desire to love, the desire to protect, and the desire to care for both in human and animal seem to build a bond between pet and human that can only strengthens with time.

love your pets but please don't have sex with them. i think that crosses the line.

it's like having your very own living teddy bear. A dog adores his master and loves unconditionally. We know they are not people but the bond between pet and owner is great because your dog loves you not matter what and is always happy to see you come home. Woof-woof.
