It is not only with humans. It is with all the living thing.

some girls luck the attention from their house to the extend they wana reach out with boyfriends,,
some girls are just jealous with friends havng boyfriend that somebody cares for them...
some girls are really into having sex thats why they wana do boyfriend...
basically the main reason is they want somebody to cry and to make them feel special,,,, its what girls need...

attion and becuase in the world to day people are supose to have that one person they love to hold them at like every hoilday and dance in the rain with that guy or just call him up crying so he will rush over an hold cuz some one deid or so you have time to find that perfect one and it is nice to have a man that you can lean on when you hight hells are hurting your feet

peer pressure, they dont really want one but they have to get one to fit in with the crowd, next thing you know they are trying to be adults, doing adult things and they'll never amount to anything

If she has a bf... she will think that people believe she is "hot", beautiful and I guess has higher self esteem...
