we met late last year and by Jan 15th,he had borrowed the first lot. in the month of jan he borrowed 4 times and in feb he borrowed 2 times. In March he has borrowed once and it will be thrice very soon. I asked him to tell me when he will be paying me and all he said is I give him some time. I asked for specific time so that I could plan, he said i made him feel like he made a mistake. I was not amused.

I just read "Honey Pie" by Haruki Murakami (http://magna.cs.ucla.edu/~hxwang/newyorker/blog/files/honeypiemurakami.html) and "For Years" by Anna Gavalda (couldn't find a link, sorry)

Despite being originally written in foreign languages, both stories struck me with their poetic precision and depth of emotion.

The realization of how similar these stories were to my situation brought about a sweetly melancholic sigh.

So. Anything similar you'd like to share? If there's a link, I'd appreciate it (don't worry if i like the short story i'll be sure to buy the collection if it is available in my local bookstore)

I had smoked casual probably a total of 60 times maybe at most 3-4 times a week but not every week. Anyway. I finally have decided to quit because of all the sneaking around and just the trouble. I want to get a job but don't think ill pass the test i smoked last Friday. I`m 140lbs Also i drink ALOT of fluids and was wondering on when ill be able to pass a test and what i can do to speed up this process. And also is urinating more going to speed it up thanks.

This question has been on mind for the past couple years. I'm wondering who has more fun, long term... a married person or single person. I'm not talking about single in college or high school, but throughout one's life until lets say about 40. Also, to those who are married if you did marry young would you do it the same all over again? Sometimes I feel in our society we get married too quickly or we get married out of a sense of obligation either to one's significant other or for religious reasons/societal influence. Is it really all it's cracked up to be with such a high divorce rate? If you think it is better to be a married person long term over single why? And if you think it’s better to be single long term over married why?

My gran died last week and her funeral is next week. A couple of us grandchildren would like to say something but are worried that we'll get too upset if we just talk about Gran. Can anyone suggest a good poem or reading? She was a lively, outgoing fun-loving lady who was much loved, so I would like something that celebrates life (and prehaps aging and watching generations grow?) and nothing too morbid. Thanks

I've had dandruff/other scalp problems for years, and I've tried Selsun Blue, Head & Shoulders, and Neutrogena T/Gel. The T/Gel seemed to work for the dandruff, but I now have cradle cap-like symptoms. My hair is also fairly long - how will this factor into combing flakes out?

Hello. Basically, I do reps of crunches and sit ups every night. I can see muscle, but it seems to be covered by a little bit of fat. I was wondering.....is there a way I can get some nice abs by just exercising and a good diet? Or is cardio a must? (dont have much time for cardio :( )
