There have been so many questions lately involving gozilla in some way, what's the deal?

I'm putting in a stackable washer/dryer.

The manual says to use a 1-1/2" standpipe and make it 36" tall.

Now, a bunch of plumbers had a hissy fit over the 1-1/2" standpipe, so I'm going to go up to 2". If I compare the two by volume, a 36" 1-1/2" standpipe has the same volume as a 20" 2" standpipe. So is 20" the height I should use? Or does it not work that way?

I know you're not supposed to make it too short or it'll flood, or too tall which will put too much strain on your washer pump or something. So help me out here! Thanks!

Let's say you meet the love of your life, but maybe your still young and have much to do, or your not ready to stay in the relationship, or for any reason, you weren't ready to find "the one"? Can that person still be "the one" or perhaps you just want them to be. Even though they say you'll know you've found the one when you meet them, what happens when you didn't want to?

My wife's cousin in Germany (they are both from the Philippines)lives in Germany and e-mails my wife in German...mostly cards and send them to my wife (we both don't speak German) my wife can't read the computer as she is legal blind and when I get an e-mail from her cousin and tell her its in German she get annoyed but does not tell her cousin..i just send a reply saying :"sorry we don't speak German" but they (in Germany_) think i should i guess as my relatives all came from Germany...yeah about a hundred years ago! but i never learned this language as its hard enough for me in English///whats a good response to them besides sorry we don't understand German? thanks for any good advice.

p.s. we have both been to germany a few years ago and they have both been here together in the us and they know we don't know any german words//??

I live in Victoria Canada, and am trying to find some information on the Canadian first time home buyers grant. Does anyone know of any websites that provide information about this? I tried looking on Google for it, but couldn't come up with anything. Also, we are thinking of buying a mobile home, and I have been told that it may be difficult to find someone who will mortgage one, or that they may require quite a high down payment. Does anyone have any experience with this in the last few years? Any information on average pad rentals in Victoria B.C. or other areas would also be greatly appreciated.

Out Of no were i dont know if its cuz of my anxiety or my flue/cold yesterday i got these very bad back pains on my left side of my body it was in 1 spot and also on my left ribs i got this sharp pain most of the time i was breathing like 1ns every 30 seconds for a like 2 hours till i went to sleep i woke up today i been feeling normal but any 1 know why i get those pains?
