Yes, you should stop today and right now. It'll be hard and really, it won't happen overnight but you need to go to AA meetings and get away from that alcohol addiction. You don't want to spend your life WASTED, do you ??? What kind of life would that be ? Life is too short and precious to drink it away. I've seen too many people destroy their lives and others' lives because of the addiction and the problems that come with it...not to mention it's terrible for your emotions, mind and body. Please stop drinking for yourself. You'll be a happier person in the end. It'll be hard, but it'll be worth it...I PROMISE. Good luck with that. Don't give up and hang on every day without a drink. If you can't enjoy life without drinking, then you're not really living. Don't live your life WASTED. You'll find things to do without being drunk. There's all sorts of things to do out there. Wake up and take a look around you.

Depends how old you are. And if you honestly think its a problem.
I know i drink more than i should, but i'm fine with it while in college. I plan to take my last sip of alcohol the week after i graduate.
There was a while with pot when i smoked everyday that i felt guilty about it.....so i cut back....at first i was fine with the idea i don't know how to have fun without it....then i wasn't fine.
If drinking ends up making you feel worse in the end...then cut back / stop. Otherwise...enjoy it.
Now with the age thing...i'm saying if you are younger..you are doing damage, but you have some time to fix this. And when you make that change in your life....lets say up the job ladder or graduate school...maybe marriage or a kid....you can make a change with your drinking habits easier.
If you' are older you are setting your self up for a life of alcoholism.

As son as you possibly can, though from the sounds of it you probably cant stop now anyway and if you did you would have to spend the rest of your life dodging alcahol so you dont find the need to do it when you dont have anything to do. You need to do something about it so get to it and do it. That will give you something to do so you dont have to drink becaues theres nothing to do. Before long you will be hocking stuff at the pawn shop to get money for grog and soon you will be hocking things that dont belong to you,,,now if you cant find anything to hock you will need to do some other illegal activity to supply your addiction to booze. The biggest problem is you probably dont even think you have a problem.

Stopping drinking will not hurt anything, it can only be better for your body. As far as not knowing what to do, I've been there. What ever you do, don't do what you do when you drink. Find a hobby, go for a walk, rent some videos. Talking to someone is always good.

Don't stop cold turkey. Just find something you like doing when drinking, and try it without drinking sometime. Maybe you'll enjoy it enough as is and won't feel the need to also be drunk.

if your statement is true, my friend you have a problem with alcohol, not sure if alcoholism yet but it could develop quicker that what you think. So really go get some help, talk to some one about this and for sure STOP i you have not done so.
