Out Of no were i dont know if its cuz of my anxiety or my flue/cold yesterday i got these very bad back pains on my left side of my body it was in 1 spot and also on my left ribs i got this sharp pain most of the time i was breathing like 1ns every 30 seconds for a like 2 hours till i went to sleep i woke up today i been feeling normal but any 1 know why i get those pains?

It would probably be because of your cold, coughing can actually caused bruised ribs or muscles if the force is hard enough.
Wait it out, if its still theres one you're betetr see your doctor.

The original source of the pain could be the flu or cold, but then your anxiety probably made it worse. I've been going through the same thing, and all week, my aches from my cold have been intensified by my anxiety. My best suggestion for when this happens again, is take some tylenol (or tylenol pm) so the pains will be lessened, and you'll be able to calm down.

You know - my husband had anxiety really bad. He couldn't walk from the bedroom to the bathroom without a paper bag. If you are sleeping and not in pain - it is typically anxiety induced. I use that rule of thumb for my husband when he gets "introspective". Usually it happens when he has too much time on his hands. If he keeps busy - he's fine. He gets "upper chest pains" but it's amazing how they go away when he's busy.

You are telling me you have the flu..the flu will give you pain all over you body next time take some tylenol and it will help the pain an you will become anxious its normal take care kara
