What is this BS about the world ending by 2012 everyone who is saying this seems happy about it. If the world was going to end by 2012 shouldn't you be doing something to prevent it? Instead of happily letting it happen!

It featured a young king called King Zar(sp) and he had friends that helped him along the way. I can't recall the actual title but I remember that it was a beautiful picture book and now I would like to have a copy for my children. Does anyone recognize this?

I am an undergrad. I like computer science, mathematics, and astrophysics/astronomy. I want to major in computer science and possibly math also (a double major). If I get tired of school and decide that I want to go ahead and graduate with my b.s. in cs/ma, then can I come back later and get a minor in atrophysics/astronomy?

I am new to photography and have just bought a second-hand Canon Eos SLR with two lenses and a kit bag for £70.

What I'd like to know is, as I start collecting lenses, film and other ancilliaries, what is the best way to keep them all safe whilst on the move and whilst sat at home for quiet periods? Bearing in mind I am aiming to become a freelance photo-journalist after I have saved up emough for a digital SLR, I'd imagine a large, robust satchel with lots of room would be best- but which one?

it's really hitting me now, and i'm not sure how to deal with everything. I hate my job. i moved to nyc from barcelona. I'm so overwhelmed i stopped writing (i am a poet and performer), and the wedding is really scaring me now because i feel i just can't cope! also, since i like to perform, my only escape is when i;m acting or on stage since i feel like i'm back to myself when i'm not 'myself' (does that make sense??..i mean, i'm acting like someone else and i LOVE it!)
i don't think it's cold feet, because i love him, and he's really trying to help me but i won't let him in. i just feel like running away and going back to spain. helpppp!! this is too much for me

p.s. postponing the wedding is not an option. we already discussed it and there is just no way.
