Karma is something that you must understand for yourself. You cannot just believe it and make it so. You must only know karma (and any number of other things) from your own understanding and experience.

As Buddha said, "Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it."

That isn't to say that karma cannot be taught. But like many things, you must understand for yourself and not blindly accept.

On the subject of proof, Carl Sagan once asked the Dalai Lama what he would do if science could prove that reincarnation does not exist. The Dalai Lama thought for a while and answered, "well, we'll just stop believing in it." (Not unreasonable.)
Then the Dalai Lama asked, "so tell me Mr Sagan, how would you go about conducting this experiment?"

For some great conversations on Buddhism, try Bob Thurman's podcasts. Some of his talks are quite complex, but you'll get a lot out of them, especially on the question of Buddhism's relationship with reality.

karma is like god...cant be proven real or fake. Most people like to think that karma is better to believe in then god however. (for people that dont know) Karma is where if you do something bad something bad will happen to you. If you do something good something good with happen to you. Could be put in better words but thats the main point.

Not proven, in the sense that nothing is, even scientific theories can only be dispoved, not proven. It all comes down to what you believe, you can cite as many evidences as you want and fit em into whatever your perception of reality might be but to "prove" it to others is more a matter of salesmanship than anything else. Best to hire an advertising agency.
