My mom was diagnosed with low hemoglobin a year ago and has been placed on Thalidomide and periodical blood transfusion. However recently, another complication set in i.e. low platelet (as low as 8,000 where the minimum should read 150,000. Doctors now say that her own antibodies are destroying the platelets. Is this condition what they call "Lupus"? If so, what can we do to control or overcome this disoder? Pls help....Thanks

as I am an adult I am having to pay for treatment myself. One thing that I am worried about is that my orthodontist has said there is no guarantee that the teeth will remain straight once treatment has ended. I will be getting a retainer afterwards which I will have to wear full-time for the first 6 months and then part-time thereafter for life. My questions is though, is there anyone who's teeth moved back to their original position even though they did wear a retainer for the time instructed by their orthodontist? Because obviously I do not want to pay all this money and then have my teeth move back!!

Couldn't god just have nudged the tornadoes away from populated areas?
Nope, easier to simply stop thinking about reality I suppose. Oh and don't forget to fill the collection plate. That IS the reason for religion after all...

It's from the 1970's. It mentions the Chesapeake Bay and crabcakes, and I think it mentions flying in from Denver. The chorus says "Tonight", then a little keyboard ditty, then again says either "Tonight" or "Feels right" and a little keyboard ditty. Can anyone help me with the name of the song and the artist? I wish I could describe it better. Thanks.

I work as a accounts payable clerk. But i'm really unhappy i hate coming to work in the mornings every morning. and it's starting to affect how i do things here. i'm late every morning and i'm starting to not care anymore.
I am only 21yrs old and this is a good job but i just don't think it's for me. should i quit and give somebody else a chance or just continue to feel like i hate my life.
please some one help.
oh and ps my parents would flip if they knew that i was thinking of quitting.

Will- The leader of the group who has the heart of candercar who was the very first one to find out how to become invisible. The animals react to her mood.

Irma- Has the power of water loves to eat she is kinda fat but likes to pick a fight with Cornelia. She is a Hypnotist who can read people's mind and tells them wat to do.

Cornelia- The pretties girl out of the whole group who has the element of earth. She can moves things with her mind and is a ice skater.She is a Afraid of water but in one movie she gets to have the element of water.

Hay lin- The girl with a talent of air and loves to draw and make her own clothes. She can see history (in her mind) by listen to the music of that object. She loves clothes and her friends.Her family has a restruant and her grandmother was the guradian of air long time ago...


Taranne- The girl who is Afraid of her own element, has the brains but not the looks in the group. Her element is fire.

Would it be good to get him a male companion or would they attack each other? Also he constantly seems 'busy' to get out of his cage, he has boxes/a wheel etc, but finds little amusement in these. Is there anything else we could give yhim to entertain him, short of a femla hamster ;)
