I have missed my cycle by three days and I took a pregnancy test and it came back positive, however I'm still having cramps as if my period is going to start! is this normal???

Well, they wouldn't be menstrual, since you're not menstruating, but you could definitely have some uterine cramping while preggo! This early on, it may even be implantation. Later on down the line, you'll have cramps, too, but it will be from your uterus stretching. Yeah, it's normal!

Yes, it might feel like cramps but it could be the uterus stretching. I had that, i thought i was going to get my period any day. I had cramps for about a week or two, then come to find out i was pregnant. The doctor said its the uterus stretching that gives the cramping feeling. I had the cramps for about a month or two after i found out i was pregnant.

Congratulations!! Yes, actually you will have cramping as a normal symptom of pregnancy. Along w/ other not pleasant symptoms. Increased urination, nausea-sometimes vomiting, fatigue, headaches,and many others that are not always as common. First trimester can be worst for some women and other women can fly by w/o too much complaint. Good luck with this miraculous event in your life.

Yep I had bad cramps from like week 3-8 and they slowly get better. It is your uterus stretching...good luck
