No, for the parents that arrange marriage they believe that they are doing right by God, and that homesexuality is a sin so they would never allow them to be gay. They would marry someone of the opposite sex and then I guess be miserable the rest of their lives.

Unfortunately, in places and cultures where arranged marriages are the norm, those marriages are usually the LEAST of things to be concerned about. Being openly gay in a culture that still has archaic traditions such as arranging marriages is a death sentence. I'm sure there are plenty of gays and lesbians with an upcoming arranged marriage that they are NOT happy about, but hopefully they will either find a way to get out of it.

There is no allowing involved. Their sons and daughters are either gay and Lesbian or they are not.
An arranged marriage doesn't change a person's sexuality.

There is some historical evidence to support the idea that couples in arranged situations have had, or do have same sex consorts. The purpose of an arranged marriage is primarily political after all.
