I am 30 weeks preggo on Sunday. I have read sooo many books, but I still feel like the best advice I can get is from people who have "been there, done that".

What made your expirience better? What did you bring to the hospital that you couldnt live without? Did you do anything special or unique that helped the expirience?

nero was included with a dvd burner i brought, all was fine and now it says a dvd+video plug in has expired and i need to upgrade. now i can no longer burn films etc. i have removed it from computer and downloaded it from demonoid and i am still unable to burn films- any sensible help or suggestions would be greatfully received.

I have been slowly dropping dairy from my diet, but most substitutes seem to by soy. I am switching my soymilk to rice, but what else is there? I already love tofu, and I sometimes eat meat substitutes, so I would like some non-soy subs.

Fake cheese is soy. If I want yogurt, I only see soy. Bagel and cream cheese, soy soy soy…

Am I missing other options? I really like having cheese, cereal, yogurt etc., but I don’t want to have that much of one kind of food in my diet.

Just curious.
Soon I will have to call myself a *soyatarian* so I can have my own made-up word.

social workers r involved becuz my ex calls repeatdly 2 report false allegations. trying 2 find a worker 2 believe him im also in 5 malicious intent cases against him (2 get access 2 the "annonymous reports" 2 gain access 2 him making these reports) there is nothing more 2 the story other then him lying, ive got set visitation, every other week spring/xmas breaks & a month in summer, but the judge hasnt heard the whole case due to the fact that it took a yr &a half (after 3 continuances on his side) 2 get back in2 court . have a guardian adlitem she is totally for me, but neither she or social services can force him 2 go 2 counseling, we fought back n forth (thru lawyers due 2 the fact my ex wont speak with me) until my last court date & he agreed 2 everything i asked for. which was totally opposite up to the point of walking in2 the court room. but now he is reappealing the order???? my lawyer & the guardian ad litem say i need 2 wait a yr 2 go 4 custody menwhil the kids suffer????

Just because you happen to bring up something about another race, where you are not pointing the finger at a race, but are concerned that a race is getting unfair treatment, people are calling YOU a racist. Why? I asked sometime last year if McDonalds is targeting black people, because many, many commercials are featuring only black people, and not people from other races, and people were calling me a racist from asking the question. Usually, when someone is called a racist, they are saying hateful, derogatory things about another race. Since i was not, and was asking why blacks were mainly the stars of mcdonalds commercials, and if mcdonalds were targetting blacks, why would someone call me a racist?

My daughter is 15 she lives with me but has only for the last 4 months, she was living with her father who brainwashes her soooo bad. He tells her that things are so bad at my house and tells her things are so perfect there, No things arent perfect at my house but they are just ordinary. Every weekend she goes over there he brain washes her move to move back in with him, I dont have the money he has so I cant buy her all the things he can and I have 3 other children to show my attn too, she is the only child over there. She choose to come and live with me, I didnt pressure her like he does. She tells me he makes her believe things are so bad at my house when she is at his, but when she gets home she realizes that they are not. I think she is playing both sides,
What do I do? He pressures her to be perfect. She cant even wear sweatpants thats how bad he is. She is a gymnast, in cheerleading and softball, very active but thinks she has to be perfect for him. Can anyone help Please!

the girl I loved has found another lover and now she want to revenge me. She has persuaded her lover to revenge to me in her name and therefore she provocates me to accept direct fight with her 'friends'. They want to beat me to death because 'I cause her worries".
They say that I am coward because they want direct fight where they will be stronger and with opportunity to hurt my body.
Are such people real friend of her? I have never attacked her or treat her in any form. However, she do not want to talk with me but she want to hurt my body. What should I do?

I have a 3 month old son and I hope he will learn to speak both English and Welsh.

Although I'm Welsh myself I am not a fluent Welsh speaker - I have a VERY basic bit of Welsh but not enough to hold a conversation. I grew up in Newport in a non Welsh speaking family and only got a year and a half of Welsh in school (this was in the mid 80s, before the Welsh Language Act, and it wasn't taken very seriously then in some schools).

My partner is from Kent and so doesn't speak any Welsh at all!!!

My son has a cd of Welsh nursery ryhmes (Mynd Drot Drot, Dacw Mam yn dwad, Gee Geffyl Bach etc) from the TWF lady at our baby clinic (all mums were given them) which I've taken the trouble to learn and sing to him. He's going to our local Cylch Ti a Fi once a week too to hear other kids play in Welsh.

And he's obsessed with TV so I'm letting him watch Planed Plant Bach for half an hour each day!

Any other suggestions? I hope when he learns to speak he will have some Welsh and some English!

I will be visiting this city in April 2007, and am very interested in meeting with any current decendants of the Emmerick family, and local history from this family.
I know that the family followed the Rhine River north up to Rotterdam Netherlands and immigrated to the United States 8 generations ago.
