nero was included with a dvd burner i brought, all was fine and now it says a dvd+video plug in has expired and i need to upgrade. now i can no longer burn films etc. i have removed it from computer and downloaded it from demonoid and i am still unable to burn films- any sensible help or suggestions would be greatfully received.

Did you get rid of the first nero correctly? You need a nero cleaning tool to do that. Download it from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Security/Secure-cleaning/Nero-General-Clean-Tool.shtml
Now after that go to: http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php
And download the trial. Save it to your computer do not run it yet.
Send me an email at: morphfitness@yahoo.co.uk and i will email you a serial code to turn it into a full version.
After i have sent you code, run nero install program and replce serial on trial with one i give you.

Reason #589 that I don't do Microsoft, Nero, Roxio, or any other of the Proprietary junkware, that wants you to feed their kiddies.
Everything is LEASED to the consumer and expires so you get to pay them, annually!!! Doh!

the nero that comes with dvd writer is only full version
rest all optional addons r demo only. So either use Nero full version or just use burn feature
there is one more way
go to your vendor and kick his *** as you have paid all the money and it is your right to get after sale services

I had the same problem i went on line and download the full verison not sure how much it was i know you can get around it another way without paying but i not sure,

update your version of nero from the Nero site

or use a torrent site to download a full version
Get bitlord v 1.1 from here

Try period is expired.
Install regcleaner and delete all nero's entry.
reboot and reinstall it again :)
If it don't works switch to free systems
