My Employer owned two reindeer which he uses at his christmas tree farm in NC. Unfortunately, one of the reindeer passed away, and restrictions prevent our obtaining another. What animals would be compatable to live with the reindeer? I have heard that it would most likely be goats.

I've had my Pigs for approx 2-3 weeks, and although they've made progress in that if you pick them up (if you can get hold of them after a brief struggle), they will let you hold them for a while and have once taken some food off my boyfriends knee after sitting with him for a while. But for some reason they are still really scared! They will come out of their sleeping box if you are in the room and potter around but you cant get within 3 foot of the cage without them freaking out and hiding.

We are very calm with them and dont have any children so it's not too noisy, but no matter how much cooing and stroking they still seem terrified! Food bribery doesnt seem to working either as they still wont take goodies out of my hand, and although I feed them at the same time twice a day (to get them into a routine), they still run away!

Help!

4 underground pipes going to/from the equipment. All I want now is to install a PVC shut-off valve in each pipe. Here's my gameplan. Turn off power; close valve at the equipment where water circulates to equipment; bleed the air from filter tank; pull the sweep out of the pool; remove skimmer basket and shove towels down both holes; plug off the 3 water outlets around the top of the pool; put a rubber mat over the top of the main drain in the bottom of the pool; cut each pipe and quickly insert towels to control water; install PVC shut-off valve (in on position) approximately 10' from pool equipment using wet/dry PVC cement (end of towels will already be threaded thru valve opening); pull out towles from pipe through opened valve; close valve; redo pipe connection on equipment side of valve using a compression fitting joining the two pieces of cut PVC pipe; turn on valve. Now I can work on moving the equipment later by shutting off valves. Any comments from the experts out there?

Tried yahooing googling a site that can track my weightt and workouts. Too lazy to come up with an excel spreadsheet. Like entering your weight everyday and the type of exercises you did on that day. Would be cool to see charts but just want something to track my progress. Thanks.

For the first time since we've had all of them together-3 years- 3 of them have Upper Respiratory Infections. The vet bills for the past 2 days are outragious. We are getting ready to move to Chicago- probably into a smaller place. We currently live in a two bedroom house and also have 2 cockatiels. We love our cats dearly but I am getting a little bit overwhelmed.

I go to school full time and work part time and my fiance works full time. I feel like we just have too many animals. We absolutely love all of them but I am getting way too stressed between work/school/lack of money and crazy vet bills from them being sick. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The Venezuelan president asserts that the U.S. government is working on several plots to overthrow his socialist government. He is the one who called President Bush "the devil" before the UN assembly. Do you see the US intervening in Venezuela as likely? is it a good thing as Chavez is considered as a threat to the stability in Latin America?

i think women do have a choice they just choose to use what they have to get what they want. They do things for money, and to eventually be well known in the music industry.

I see some of my friend's kids they are kinda spoiled. I just wonder why they don't hit to discipline them and train how to be an obedient. In asia if the kids are likely stubborn or seemingly learning bad behaviours the parents would hit them, not s everely but it would also hurt the kid. Do you think hitting is a good way to discipline chidlren?
