I am only confused on this paperwork mishap. I am not confused on how to breed my dog. So before you share any of your ignorance, please know what your talking about. There is nothing wrong with wanting to breed my dog i take great care of them both. Get your story straight

Yes, it does matter. You will not be able to register them in your name. It will have the other peoples names as the owner of the female. And technically, that would make her part owner of the litter. Why have you not transferred her to your name yet? I'm assuming she is AKC and that should be done before she is 12 months old. Also, breeding bulldogs is not something that should be taken lightly. Just because you "take great care of them" does not mean they are healthy enough to be bred. These dogs die very easily with stress. I breed them and we just had a female die when she was 58 days pregnant. You need to make sure you know everything about them and have a good vet who knows this breed.

Absolutely,
*ALL* registered owners, AT THE TIME OF BREEDING, of a ***** MUST sign the litter registration form. This rule was instituted several years ago in order to solve the problems with breeding dual ownership b!tches.

Yes, as long as the papers are in the other peoples' name they are the owners of the ***** and her puppies. Take care of the paperwork before doing anything else.

Hope you have lots of money put aside for the c-section and other vet bills, and are able to take a couple of weeks off work.

Yes! If they don't sign over the registration to you in full than you may be asking for problems. If you want to be the sole breeder of this litter and you are talking about getting AKC registration papers on the puppies get this settled right away. Get it in writing and dated also.

You MUST get the femle's registration papers transferred to your name before you breed any puppies. Until then you will not be able to register the offspring.

It's going to matter for registration purposes. Make sure you get the paperwork taken care of before the pups are born. BTW, where do you live? We're looking for another English Bulldog (female). e-mail me please

Why are you breeding your english bulldogs? Millions of dogs get euthanized everyday. Instead of breeding, why not promote the adoptions of the many homeless animals in shelters who would make loyal, loving pets?

If you are asking this question on here, you have no business breeding your dogs. Terrible complications arise from back yard breeders like yourself doing things like this. You can kill the female dog. Please reconsider what you're doing - the shelters are full, and it's irresponsible people like yourself that cause this.
