I think the 5 most scariest movies for me were...Texas Cahin Saw Massacre the original The thing I liked about this movie the most was that is mostly done in first person and the home videa camera that the sheriff used really got me going.... Saw 1 The suspense of waiting for that pig to show up in front of the TV. The gruesome scenes were a bonus... The Fog The best part of this movie for me was when the boy was playing on the beach trying to out run the fog and the mental aspect of not being able to do anything to protect yourself from the unseen... The Exorcist (original) who didn't get scared when they watched this one the part when the priest and rabbi were trying to exorcise the demon must have been the best part of the movie ... and Lady in the Water I don't like things in my waters how do you know that something is there until its right in front of your face? .. .

a million. Paranormal pastime 2. The Exorcist 3. 6th experience 4. Quarantine 5. Jeepers Creepers (Wasn't as frightening the 2nd time, however the 1st time, I watched it whilst there have been no curtains or blinds on the abode windows, so it grow to be extremely frightening then, lol)

Even though I enjoy the genre, very little actually scares me (except taxes), so these are 5 that I liked for the film itself:

1) The Exorcist - sort of opened up the whole genre of graphic horror
2) Rosemary's Baby - very stylish, more creepy then scary
3) Alien - great monster/horror flick, very intelligent
4) Halloween - one of the best in the suspense category
5) The Uninvited - old-time English ghost story with a great cast and script; anyone who likes ghosts should see this one

The Ring - first movie to actually scare me. The TV end did it for me...
The Others- More of a creepy atmosphere than actually scary but still a great movie
The Sixth Sense- still gives me goosebumps
The Shining- Those 2 girls....Not really scary but still iconic
Darn, cant think of a 5th. There really isnt anything trully frightening in regards to movies nowadays.
