I'm in college at the minute just about to sit my AS levels but is it really worth it? What difference will it make me achieving good grades in my a levels compared to your average joe down the straight who could be just as smart? x

When I run / jog anything generally over 6 miles the insides of both of my feet get really sore, and soft skin. When I run over 10 miles they tend to blister. Can anyone recommend a way around this?

Dear friends. I need your help. I belong to a middle class Indian family. I am the only son of my parents. My parents throughout their life, have done a lot for me and have given me both financial as well as moral support. My father is a retired employee and my mother remained a house - wife throughout. My parents are now around 70 years age and do not keep good health. They are dependent on me. I am working in a private co. in Delhi. I am married for 11 years and have 2 kids. We all stay in a small but independent home in Delhi. This home is in my mother's name. I am the only working member of family with just sufficient salary from hand to mouth. But I have had tried to give all possible facilities and amenities to my family members. In the 11 years of my married life, I hardly lived a moment of peace. The problem is frequent quarrels between my wife and my mother. My wife does not obey anybody or atleast does not like to be advised by anybody not even me. She just thinks / dreams that something has happened and will blame me and my mother. She just wants that everyone should obey her and work for her. Even this does not satisfy her. She always finds one way or other to fight. This has ruined the life of my parents, my children and myself. My parents have become like servants. On trying to advise my wife, she always threatens that she will go to police and will implicate us in a dowry case. Or sometimes she threatens to commit suicide and implicate us in a case of murder. I have tried to persuade her that if we cannot go along, then we should separate. I have even given her the option to keep or not to keep our children with her and also promised to give her a part of my salary as alimony without even going to courts. But she always threatens. Now for some days, she has been saying that we should separate from my parents and should live somewhere else. Although this "MAY" bring some peace on the front of my wife and my mother but this is no guarantee that I and my wife will have peace. Moreover, living in a rented place with separate kitchen will put a lot of financial pressure on me resulting in the decrease in quality of facilities my children and my wife are enjoying. In long term this will again become a reason of quarrel. And most importantly, my parents need me at this stage of life - financially, physically and morally. I am in a dilemma what to do? Sometimes I feel that I cannot do anything and I should commit a suicide and also end the life of my suffering parents. Can anyone advise me what should I do??? Please I need urgent advise.

We've been dating for years and now the time is here. He's in the process of buying my engagement ring, but he hasn't talked to me about converting for him. He has cracked jokes such as: I'm more Jewish than he is (bc I'm good w/$), and randomly he'll say "we'll have to talk to the rabbi about getting you converted."

Neither of us believe in God, but he has said that he'd like his kids to be raised in the Jewish culture (reconstructionist).

Does he just expect me to convert? Not expecting me to convert? Shouldn't he have addressed this issue before ring shopping?

I grew up frequenting Baptist churches.

My boss is trying to tell me that this week-long training class is mandatory. He said that if I don't take it, I won't get my raise or gain-sharing (basically, a bonus). They're not offering it, though, on the shift I work. Problem is, I work another job and go to school - I work 55 hours a week between both jobs and am a full-time student (16 credit hours). I only sleep 5 hours a night as it is. I was told by my boss that if I couldn't come in on the shift they want me to, he'd have to call the district manager about it and "it will be bad." He actually suggested I take off work at my other job, or use my spring break week so I can come in. Problem is, I don't get "unpaid time off" at my other job...and I've had plane tickets for three weeks for my spring break, to visit some friends.
Can they legally require this? Can they really threaten (and follow through?) to not give me my yearly raise? They want it done by the end of March. This is ridiculous!

You don't want to be an idol worshipper. J.C. didn't want you to worship idols. Many many times J.C. could have said that he was God. Instead always he said things like, "not my will but thine Lord." If he were God it would have been the same will. When you go to the Bible with a slanted point of view, that's what you're going to get. Just be honest and unbiased. Many pagan religions at the time of Christ had a sun god that had a mother. Constantine ushered this pagan belief into Christianity using his political influence. Study history, the Trinity wasn't "a part" of Christianity until many many years after the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. who never claimed to be God, only at one(in heart)with Him, and the Bible says that we the disciples are one with them also, so does this make us God?
