I am a supervisor & 1 of my employees is older then me and african american. I feel he has a problem giving authority to a women who is younger and white. At one point he said I did not like him because of his skin color. Which is the furthest thing from the truth. Anytime I had to correct a mistake or wirte a concern for something he did it was not because he was wrong it was becuase of his skin color. I promised myself I would make an effort to have a better relationship with the person. It was OK for about a month but the first time I had to address something I was disrespectful, i think it is his pride. He has managed to piss off the other supervisors and is keeping a log of everything we do that he feels is disrespectful or us not doing his job. My manager has not taken any steps to say to him, change your attitude toward supervison and your shift will go much smoother.last night when i corrected one of his mistakes he waved me away, my manager is playing the safe card afraid

I have a 10 gallon tank, which is empty at the moment. I want to get a Male betta and a couple of mollies, (i have read that these are compatible) but i was also considering a couple of coolie loaches..can anyone tell me if this would work or suggest any other options for tankmates for the betta?

my boyfriend keeps tropical fish but just has never had a betta before so we are at a bit of a loss other than "no fin nippers or fish with long fins"

I'm seriously considering becoming a lacto-vegetarian due to some stomach and digestive health problems I've been having. My only problem is that I absolutely hate beans (canned, not green or waxed) and lentils. I just find the texture is disgusting and I have a really hard time eating them (during and after). Does a vegetarian diet have to consist of these veggies/legumes, or can I eat something else as a substitute? Thanks!

MINNESOTA - Often, Steve Nash is sainted for his two MVP seasons, but Shaquille O'Neal considers them to be "tainted."

After Miami's loss in Dallas on Thursday, O'Neal was engaged in an MVP discussion as it related to the Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki. O'Neal questioned how the media picks MVPs and said the award has been "tainted" the past two seasons. O'Neal was the runner-up for Nash's first MVP in 2005.

O'Neal repeated "tainted" references to reporters.
