it worked fine until i installed windows vista. it went through the process (supposedly) of installing new driver (s) but still won't work

some of the older and some of the newer printers aren't compatible with vista. i had the same issue and i am awaiting for the new drivers for the printers to be posted onto the lexmark website so that the printer will be compatible with vista. check the wbsite frequently to see when you will be able to download the right software so that you can use this printer.

Contact the Lexmark website and microsoft.
It is apparent that you don't have the correct drivers with your OS for your printer model.
Possibly the lexmark site will have the correct drivers for your model to work with Vista.
