MINNESOTA - Often, Steve Nash is sainted for his two MVP seasons, but Shaquille O'Neal considers them to be "tainted."

After Miami's loss in Dallas on Thursday, O'Neal was engaged in an MVP discussion as it related to the Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki. O'Neal questioned how the media picks MVPs and said the award has been "tainted" the past two seasons. O'Neal was the runner-up for Nash's first MVP in 2005.

O'Neal repeated "tainted" references to reporters.

Lets see He had spats with coach Hill, Penny Hardaway

then Elden Campbell, Nick the Quick, Coach Harris, Coach Rambis, Rodman, Eddie jones and was jealous of Kobe from the very start with the Lakers. The reason for the in-fighting was 70% Snaqeer's fault.

Now peeps are shocked that he said something about Steve Nash, Who by the way never said a ILL word about any NBA player. Actually, Nash is a great spokesman for the game, SNaqeer is NOT. The best revenge for Nash, is to not engage SNAQ and just laugh while Snaqeer Oatmeal misses the playoffs for the only time in his career. Thats right, Snaqeer has never missed the playoffs, and him missing it this year would be a perfect prelude to a farewell tour next year.

I think that he is implying that the team's star (whom he had just lost to) deserved the title instead of Nash. (When Nash won the title last year his initial reaction and interview he stated how surprised he was and that he really thought that Dirk would and should have gotten it.) I don't think that he was trying to say anything against Nash I could be wrong though.

Maybe more of America should consider Shaq's All Star game appearance this year tainted. Shaq isn't as dominant of a center as he once was...

Shaq has many bouts of being a gigantic jerk, and this is just him returning to form. This really shouldn't surprise people, he has talked a lot of smack and belittled a lot players inhis career.
