I am a dial-up internet user. I have found that even when I am not using the net, there is still data transferring back and forth through the connection. I would like to determine what programs are accessing it. Is there software for this?

Also, I have found that the internet will connect in the middle of the night for no known reason. I would also like to determine what program is causing this as well.

Thank you for any information you have to offer.

I am currently using XP with Windows Media Center and only using Windows Firewall currently. I have bought Norton's firewall and McAfee in the past and, to be honest, can't stand them. Any suggestions?

I have tried alot of search engines and alot of websites (people search), to find my brother about the land situation. The closest, I came was that he was in wickenburg, Arizona. Thats as far as they will go, without spending money for something thats not a sure thing, But I guess thats what I'll have to do. If he is unlisted, its seems quite strange that they would sell you his no. anyway. But I guess you can buy just about anything nowadays, if you know where to go or look.

i had a d and c in january and was told by the doc and surgeon to wait till i had my 1st period before trying again. I am a bit scared incase it happens again, and now that i have had my period i dont know whether or not to go for it.

i live in manchester and i've always been interested in sports therapy etc. Unfortunately my job requires me to work shifts. Does anyone know if the open university runs a sports therapist course? financially i couldn't give up my job to study as a normal student would. Cheers

If a sweet innocent girl was brutally assaulted in school for no reason, and the offender laughs about it while she is crying in excruciating pain on the ground, and the girl parents only find out about it 10 months later, can they still file a law suite against the offender? Both the victim and the offender are 16 years old now, but at the time of the assault it’s possible that one or the two were 15 years old, does that makes any difference?

It happened in the State of CALIFORNIA, city of Corona.

it all started when J didn't go to my school. i met him online through my best friend and we started talking he seemed like a very kool guy, then one day he just told me" you're beautiful" J never even saw me then like a week later J said i love you and every since then we would both look forward to talking to each other online and our conversations would last for hours and it was great untill i told him i'm not sure if we could be together because no one even liked me talking to him and my parents made it hard for me to talk to him untill he came to my school and i would shake or smile at him when i saw him because he was too afraid to speak to me and would never speak to me at school then i met this guy who had these gorgeus eyes and i then everyone kept saying i liked the pretty eyed guy and J got hurt and stopped talking to me and now that i like J he won't speak to me but he smiled and shaked at me 3 times for the week already and i don't think he knows i like him
