well.if it doesn't do any good to you , it won't do any harms either.you know it has a lot of health benefits , from increased metabolism to lower cholestrol.it also helps fight various diseases and viruses and the like.
apart from that , if you wish to know about my personal experience with drinking green tea , you would be surprised to know that i actually lost 13 pounds from drinking a couple of cups of green tea everyday for as long as 3 months.mind you , i wasn't even planning to lose weight.i started drinking it just like that.i was not on any kind of diet , i wasn't working out either.infact i was not even active those days.well that's still a mystery to me , but i now have firm believe in those theories which say that green tea DOES help weight loss by revving up your metabolism so you burn more calories even while doing nothing which thus results in weight loss.
and i'm going to start taking 3 cups of green tea from tomorrow since i'm planning on shedding a few pounds now.however , i'm also going to incorporate regular physical activities and eat healthy to reap more benefits out of it.
on a dark side , drinking a lot of green tea ( like 5-6 cups a day ) might actually be a little harmful to someone who has acne ( like me , that's why i don't plan to have more than 3 cups per day ) .the reason behind this might be that it's a little heaty , you know , like how they say acne patients are not supposed to have chocolates and too much spicy foods and stuff like that.there's something in green tea which can make acne even worse.so just be a little careful if you do have acne.Otherwise , i don't think there's anything wrong with drinking green tea.

Is any other food or drink reported to have as many health benefits as green tea? The Chinese have known about the medicinal benefits of green tea since ancient times, using it to treat everything from headaches to depression. In her book Green Tea: The Natural Secret for a Healthier Life, Nadine Taylor states that green tea has been used as a medicine in China for at least 4,000 years.

Well...you will benefit from it in many ways. The researchers have found out that it prevents heart attacks, prevents strokes and prevent cancers and works just like anti-oxidants. In some parts of the world the green tea is taken after thoroughly boiling it in milk and very little water is added and a small amount of salt is added in that. That can give you a lot of Calcium and makes your bones and teeth stronger and every muscle cell is dependent on Calcium for contraction. So rather than black tea or the English tea. green tea is good , rather very good , for your health
