She was working in a restaurant kitchen 3 evenings a week for about 12 hours or so a week. Then she was only given 2 nights a week. Then for the last 3 weeks they called to cancel one of those nights. This left her with just one night (2-4 hours). So she quit last week without discussing it with me. Now she wants to find another job but I'm concerned this will be a "black mark" for her. Any advice?

There are 3 hospitals I can choose from.

There's my first choice St. Mary's which is 45 minutes away but is top state of the art. They have all the new equipment, many birthing options (ball and squatting bar) and don't set a limit on who or how many can be there for the birth. I'm a little worried about this being too far. The doctors are the best in the state and they have a NICU on th esame floor. Gorgeous rooms plus they put security bands on the baby before it leaves the room.

My second choice is a much smaller hospital associated with Dean (a branch of St. Mary's locally) and its 15 minutes away. They have general equipment and offer a Juccuzzi, nothing else really. They also don't set a limit on who can be there but a max of 5 (fine by me) and the rooms are decent. Little security but it is a relatively small town with little birthing center traffic (like 2-5 women a day). Plus they have a really nice doctor all my friends swear by.

My third choice: Mercy Hosp.
