They have a right to live and love just like anyone else. I don't think it would be right to kill someone just because they have an alternitive lifestyle.

Simple answer is no.
Illegal? Most states have repealed or stopped enforcing their statutes regarding sodomy and homosexual behavior. No. This is not a legal issue.
Sentenced to death? For a "crime" in which no one died, everyone involved was consenting, and is usually was carried out as a private act? Most certainly no.
The archaic mentality to fear the unknown is still alive and kicking. Fortunately, to immediately kill what you don't understand is one that has very little sway at this moment in time.
How would you like to be treated? Treat them that way and live on. It has always been in our culture, in every culture, found in every species. That in and of itself doesn't mean it should be allowed. Murder, theft, assault, and neglect are also common to all of those. The difference is in harm. What harm does it do? I have seen nothing that makes it as harmful as murder or even simple assault.
Show me it is harmful to people in a direct way and then bring up this question. It is otherwise a ridiculous question.

im asuming u live in america well it says by our nation that we have freedom. we call this nation fiminists because we are all created equal an yet y is it taht people are so offended by homosextuals? there are jsut different live every one else. its there freedome to do waht they want. the reaso we as a a society is so aginst this is because it gose aginst our religion. sociality and most of all our norms. its said taht its no normal for some one to be homosextual. for my self im a stright guy but i was educated enough by my proffesors so i as an educated person deam that america its self is not the land of freedom. we are not free at all. because of norms we can not be free wahts so ever because if we were then the world would be chaotic. in my opinion homosextuals should have every right to do waht ever they want as in get merried.... then i believe they should. i mean the people that go aginst homosextuals are waht u would call the oposer... "this means ur a bad person" ^.^ but the people that care so much about stoping homosextuals is becoming a political problem and well its rely stupid cuzz i mean if u dont like homosextuals and u do every thing u can to make thigns complicated for them well ur a ******* prick. excuse my language... well i dont believe that e should bother with the homo sextuals ahha there people just like u and me. so leave thme alon and make friends with them u can learn alot. our society is so discrimitory!!!
