Hillary Clinton's campaign team has already publicly pressed Obama to denounce the comments of media mogual and ex-Clinton backer David Geffen as well as playing the Muslim phobia-card by calling on Obama to explain his going to a "Muslim-faith" school in Indonesia when he was 6 years old.

I honestly hope it will be. I'm a registered Republican, and have never voted Democratic for President (I have for Congress though), but right now my favorite candidate is Barack Obama. I'm reading his book and like what he has to say, and admire the way he says it.
Hilary will be the one to make it down-n-dirty though. She knows she can't win a battle of goodness or morals because she's an evil c-word.
I can't believe that she demanded Obama return money he recieved from a fundraiser led by some Hollywood celebs, most notably David Geffen (owner of Geffen Records).
She had the audacity to claim that because Geffen supported Bill that he should automatically support her! Talk about ego!
So I guess that means that if Chelsea decides to run in 2028, Geffen is obligated to support her because he supported her dad back in the day?!
Hilary is a joke, and an waste of humanity.
Obama 2008!

I think you answered your own question. Hillary is scared not only of Obama because he will take away the black vote in the primaries, but Edwards because he is winning in Iowa and would also be tough to beat in South Carolina. The question for Hillary will be if, when she attacks, the mud doesn't splatter back at her. The Geffen mess did not look good for her.

There will be more than usual mud slinging this time with Hilary in the race. Why is it that we have 50 choices for Miss America, yet only a couple for the most important job in the world?

This will be the dirtiest campaign ever. The Clinton gang has already started the smoke screen and will use every trick they can find to try and make it. Hopefully She will be completely knocked out before the party suffers irreversible damage.

It'll get way, way bad.

What they should do instead of all this fundraising and spending and attack ads and what not is to hold a coast to coast live battle royal. The democratic candidates in one ring just go at one another. The republicans are in another ring and do the same.

The winners of the respective matches face one another in a cage match.

The winner of the cage match ....

... faces Mr. Kennedy.

And then we have another President Kennedy!!!!

"Do you think the 2008 Democratic Presidential Campaign will be free of mud slinging?" No but neither will the Republican campaign.

It will exceed your ability to imagine. By the time the primaries get here we will know way more about all the candidates than we ever in our wildest dreams wanted to know, and we will hate ALL of them. Oh well, it can't get much worse than watching the ---- Anna Nicole Smith side show that seems to have TV media spellbound right now.

#11, you have me beat by skill of two. i comprehend in basic terms what you recommend, it is been particularly calm and in basic terms approximately sickly candy. so some distance the airborne dirt and dirt has been thrown by skill of supporters and that's time the newborn gloves come off the applicants. i'd actual prefer to Obama show some anger, an emotion he seems to be void of. i think as we inch closer to the ninety day threshold issues will warmth up.

It's called "premature inauguration" and we will be so sick of it I am quite sure it's going to cost them some votes already.
Bring on the underdogs.
