I moving to New York and trying work out how much tax I will have to pay. There is a refernce to Yonkers with regard to city and I don't know what this means.

Hey, not sure how many ppl this problem applies to. I was wondering how i cud overcome one of my problems which really gets to me. When my and my friends go out it seems like they all have confidence to dance with, talk to and in many cases go further with girls. Now unfortunately i dont think i have been born with this part of the brain because i just feel very self concious when approaching a girl in a club or wherever even to talk to! Should i just risk everything and try to be more 'out there' or just accept that this is who i am!?

Balls of thread on the bottom end of the fabric keep jamming the machine and I think it's because the needle is too big for the thickness of the fabric? Is this correct or is there another reason why the thread is collecting on the bottom side of the fabric while sewing? Thanks!

My ex-mother-in-law told me that her son (my ex-husband)had changed. He was abusive, controlling and pushy during our marriage.

I live in another state and came back to take care of our daughter because he moved due to job reasons.

I don't see any change in him because he did the following things:

1. He made me call and cancel the car insurance on my car since he assumed that I will be in this state for some time and not be driving my car. I paid the car insurance not him and its my car.

2. I will be driving his car and he asked me to pay for the registration of it. It was only $31.00 but it bothered me.

3. He asked me to change my cell phone plan to a family plan. I said No.

I see that he is still controlling, pushy and money-minded. Yet, since I am here taking care of my child, my ex-mother-in-law keeps pushing me to call him and be friends with him.

I am not interested and neither is he.

We recently adopted a 7 y/o Schnauzer mix from the shelter. I picked him up and I walk him and take him outside. He is a very obedient and well trained dog. My problem is that he won't do anything without me. He plays with my daughters but if I stand up he comes to me. I make my daughters feed him and walk him so he becomes more dependant on them but it doesn't seem to help. He follows me everywhere in the house and if I leave, he stays at the door and howls, even when the rest of the family is home. How do I break him of this behaviour?

Their main goal is to go to heaven and thats all they can think of. And if they try to be nice, it's only because thye want to go to heaven. They just can't genuinely be nice for the sake of being nice and helping others. They need a reward such as heaven, otherwise they see no reason to be nice.
We are all selfish to an extent. It's a survival instinct but why do religious per se, think they have the authority on morals and ethics, when their main goal is built on selfish motives.

Hi, I said here before I am still in love with my ex. We send alot of texts back and forth to each other every night. She said she still has feelings for me aswell. Its been 6 years that I am in love with her. I am only telling her now as she is getting married soon and I cant bear the thought of it plus they are going through a very bad patch and things not looking gud for them. She is coming back home tomorrow as she lives away and said she would call into me for a chat strictly she said she cant and wont do nothing with me while she is still with her fiance. I just bought some more blades for my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe from Canadian Tire. I can't seem to figure out how to get the old ones off and put the new ones on. Has anyone done this before who knows how the mechanism works? I've been out in the cold working on it twice for about half an hour each time and have had no luck at all figuring it out.

this is my second marriage and i have children. my friends told from a another source that he was with someone while I was away, and that another women is now saying she is having ralations with my husband and knows he is married. I confronted him with this info (told him I got a anonymous call) and he totally denied it, the second women lives right next to where he works.
she is not a hotty, I have seen her. I feel since I confronted him, he
knows he is not getting away with this behavior anymore. How do i not make myself crazy, I love him and believe will make this marriage work, but it is so hard not knowing the truth.

I've been using Genuine Windows XP Professional. Just to try out Linux, I installed it on a separate partition. The Linux overwrote my boot-loader (ntldr WindowsNT Boot Loader) with Linux (Grub Grand Unix Boot-loader). My Windows Installation features in the Grub's list of OS but it isn't the default choice. Many a time, the computer automatically boots into Linux, and I end up spending minutes restarting the system to boot Windows. I've become fed-up of Linux and I want to remove it. I can't just delete the Linux ext3 partition else it would corrupt Grub. I want this Grub to be replaced by the NTLDR. I cannot use my Windows Installation CD because the CD is that of Windows before Service Pack 1, one of the first builds that came without the SP, which over the years, I updated to SP2. If I use the CD, it could overwrite the SP2 system files ending up in a system-file mess causing me to re-format the Windows installation. I don't want to do that. Please Help.
