My partner's dog is making coughing sounds every 15 to 30 minutes. This started probably early this morning as it woke me up. Last night it was cool and we had the window open so is it possible she has a chill, at the moment she's just laying around looking a little mopey but I'm not sure if it's because she didn't get much sleep because she was coughing or because she had a big day at the park yesterday arvo. If someone else knows or has experienced this can they help because we're a little bit worried.

Where can I find some from this decade? Wal-Mart only has Elmo books, which are OK; however, I'm looking for books with all of the characters. Sesameworshop.com has some as well as allaboardtoys.com; however, I would rather go to the store than order them online. Any ideas? The only stores I have in my area are Wal-Mart and Shopko. I could drive to Target or some place else if they have them. Thanks!

Moved into new apartment and we paid prorated rent...but come this week they send us a notice saying we never paid it....well they signed the lease saying we paid and we gave them the money order for it....so I talked to them and they say they don't have it, so they are giving us three days to pay....I don't want to have to pay all of that money again since I just gave it to them....and also in the midst of moving we haven't found the receipt from the money order...What should we do?

Well I've been going out with my bf for 9 months now and we are serious about each other and everything and we have loads of fun when we are together!!! but these past few weeks he hasn't been answering my calls or text i was going to go round to his place but his parents don't actually approve of our relationship so I thought that was a bad idea then i asked one of his mates if he knew anything but he had no clue. even when the robber barons made millions upon millions of dollars, there were no income taxes. government functioned then, and since washington was the president, without the influx of the worker's tax dollars. then legislation was passed legalizing federal income taxes. taxes are so high, if you were to add up every single penny you spend for every single tax you would find that they equal about 60% of every dollar you spend!

so, i want to know how were government officials paid for their services before the income tax?

how were military campaigns, wars and weapons paid for before the income tax?

how were washington, dc monuments and buildings built before the income tax?

how were national parks run without the income tax?

do you think that a law should be passed that says that our "representatives" should work as volunteers, or at least, that they can't give themselves raises & now pay social security taxes?

are our reps worth our money? why?

I think not. It's also a reason to pay those women less in those jobs because they are not as good as the guys. If a woman is not even strong enough to arrest a criminal, what is the point of having women as police officers? The standards are there for a reason. Especially considering women saying they are equal.

These tiles are at least 30 yrs old, but in great shape. We wish to change the color. This is a high traffic, public area, so the surface must be durable and not too slick or glossy. Also, a paint that was less rather than more toxic (during application) would be prefferable.

In a few weeks I'll got in for my first ever pap. with gynecologist. I'm a freshman in college and not sexually active (never been to a gyno). The reason for my visit is to get my period to be regular (i had three of them in a month.....?) and maybe get on bc or whatever's necessary. Does anyone have any advice as to what to do/not to do while preparing for the first visit? Does it hurt? How long does it take?

I have been with my girl for about a year and a half and know her 3 kids for a year they are 10,11, and 13. We are in love and she wants us to eventually move in together I have a 15 year old son as well. The problem is that I feel left out of things involving the kids . They are into sports and I want to attend the events to support them and show them I care but she does not want me there because of her ex husband. They do not get along but but keep the lines of communication open for the kids . He does not like that she has moved on and acts childish and will not come into her house when he picks the kids up because I am there . She is worried that if I go to the events with her he will stop coming to see his kids there and they will blame me for that ,I am also not aloud to be around on x mas morning when he comes over to watch them open gifts. This bothers me how can I move in with this goin on is this normal or am I being unreasonable wanting to be part of this ?

We want to replace our Hotpoint condensing tumble dryer for a vented tumble dryer, hopefully a lot quieter than the Hotpoint as our downstairs area is very open plan and the noise from it is annoying. We would like a minimum 6kg dryer, but the noise is the main thing. Any ideas? Thank you.
