Does God only hide from non-believers?

Question

It seems that Christians see him everywhere, but non-believers can't seem to find him regardless of how hard we look...... Why is that?

Some people say that if you fold a dollar bill a certain way there is a picture of the WTC being hit by the planes.....

Is it something like that?

Acts 10:34 in the bible reads, "god is not partial." Therefore he is not hiding from non-believers, however, you must look for him in order to see him.
Romans 1:20-"for his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived in the things made..." (partial quote)
Try going out into nature and just look at the mountains, a beautiful sunset, a forest etc. Just as a house or a building must have a designer and creator, so must the earth and the things in it including creatures must have the same.

Romans 1:20 "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-His eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse."

Basically, what Paul is saying is that God's existence is clear from His works. You don't look at a painting and say, "So cool how that painting happened to paint itself." Actually, it's more scientifically probable that a painting would paint itself than that the world evolved, but scientists don't tell you that. They want you to believe the universe made itself, when the universe is actually the most obvious proof of God's existence. i challenge you to read Romans 1. It's quite nicely laid out.

It is exactly like that, Christians will say that Atheists don't want to see God so they ignore him. Atheists will say that Christians want to see God so they attribute anything that moves to God.

A Christian will see a beautiful sunset and say, look at this, God is great. An Atheist will say looks like there is a lot of ions in the air tonight, there is going to be a storm. In the morning the Christian will say Wow God really wolluped us last night, what are we going to do about replacing these window shutters? The Atheist will say, I am glad I locked the shutters last night.

Even Christians, like myself, occasionally have trouble finding God. That is because 1 God wants us to have free agency and doesn't force himself on us 2 Because the advisary ( Satan, Devil, what have you)) doesn't want us to find God and works to mask his works and words 3 Faith can't always be proven or seen or understood, it's not tangible, its something that lives in your heart and mind. Christians who have faith in God See him more often because they are closer to him. You can think of it like meeting a good friend. You may walk by a person a thousand times and never ever know they exist, but once you have met them and become friends you see them more often, you talk to them, and you understand more about them, you learn their style and habits. God is the same way. If you don't know him, and if you are not open to him, you can't possibly find him. If you want to find God, search for him, study the bible, talk to people who believe in him and know him, seek him with an open mind and heart and you will find him.

God hides Himself before all people. Moses only sees His power through the fire in the bush; Christ through a dove; Muhammad through Gabriel...
Humanity can learn the wisdom of God only through the Holy Books brought by His Divine Messengers.

When you say that Christians see God. What is it that they supposedly see? Do you mean...Christians see and feel the effects of God in their presence? What are you looking for?
I don't mean to sound rude with answering your questions with more questions... I am just carious as to what you really mean and what you think you should see. By the way it is not only Christians who say they've seen God.

Some of these answers are really weird:
"JUDE" tries to convince me that God is my nose. I'll let that one slide.

"jancajay" & "willie" are telling me I'm not looking or I would've found God. How do they know that? They don't even know me or what I've done. Are they saying that not having found him means I haven't looked? So if I looked for a "unicorn" I'll find him? How does the act of looking automatically get you what you're looking for? Aren't they really saying that in order to believe all you have to do is believe? Maybe "JUDE" makes more sense. Praise be to my schnozz.

look ok, Christians have a piece of God in them. Because we have accepted God we naturally look for God everywhere we go, I can tell you that in your life if you seek God you will find. God will not hide from you if you are seeking him. He hides from no one. Are you looking for the right reasons because if you aren't then you aren't gonna find anything?

Non-believers just refuse to see what is sitting right in front of them. Have you not seen the beauty of a brilliant sunset setting against a dark blue sky? Have you not heard the cry of a new born baby or watch him take his first breath? God is with us all, maybe you are looking too hard.
