so theres this boy and for awhile we were checking each other out (like every time we saw each other) and so he finally asked me to go on a date with him...and so we did and it didnt go well because something had gone on earlier in the day that put me in a really bad mood (so it had nothing to do with him)..but he seemed really understanding about this and really sweet. And so anyway we talk on the phone now everynight and he walks me to my classes and kisses me and treats me like his girlfriend (like the things he says and does and the way he acts around me) BUT he likes one of my friends, he tells everyone he likes her and she knows he likes her but theyve never kissed and they dont talk on the phone but at school theyre always together and he flirts with her and so many girls! he seems to treat me differently but mostly when were alone and the way he looks into my eyes and the way hes shy around me (even though hes a outgoing guy) makes me feel special.

Doritos commercial?
Question Details: in school we have an advertising assignment and part of it is to make a commercial for Doritos. My group came up with a new spicier flavour (we haven't quite comeup with a name yet) and our commercial is goign to show a BBQ party with many teens attending and there's this guy at the BBQ but he can't quite get the coal running...so he gives up and decided to take a break and opens a bag of spicy doritos near the BBQ and one of them accidently falls into the BBQ and it suddenly starts a fire that the BBQ person wanted for his hamburgers.......... so wut do u think? like it or not? would u like this commercial if it was an actual one? what should i add? what should i take off? what should be the new name of the super spicy and hot doritos?

The following thought experiment is driving me mad, but I can't seem to reconcile relativity with the Bernoulli eqn.

In a classic textbook example you are asked to imagine that you are a smoker sitting on a fast moving train travelling through a narrow tunnel with the window open. The fast flowing air outside of the carriage means a reduced pressure, and so the air (and thus the smoke) from within the carriage is pushed out through the window.

However, now imagine you are a smoker sitting in the tunnel by the track watching the train go past. You see the air in the carriage moving faster, and so the air inside the carriage is at a lower pressue. Your smoke is pushed into the carriage.

Now these can't both be true.

We can even forget the specifics of the train example, and say that this must be true of any fluid flow with differential speed. It seems that Benoulli requires an absolute velocity, but relativity says we can't have one. I must be missing something fundamental, but what?

She said he "questioned her patriotism" but what he said was:

Pelosi complained at this point, that Cheney questioned her Patriotism. To which he responded:

"I'm not sure what part of it is that Nancy disagreed with. She accused me of questioning her patriotism. I didn't question her patriotism. I questioned her judgment. You also have to be accountable for the results. What are the consequences of that? What happens if we withdraw from Iraq?"


So why is Pelosi claiming he questioned her patriotism? He said nothing like that. Is Pelosi doing it to appear as a victim?

Mine is the one that has the cowboy in New York singing "You don't always die from tabacco, sometimes you just lose a lung. My daughter is 6 weeks old today. IN the afternoon, when I place her in her little bouncy seat when she is asleep she wakes up SCREAMING. This pretty much continues for the rest of the night. When I pick her up I can "sh" her and pat her on teh back until she calms down and falls back asleep. But then when I set her back down, she will sleep for maybe 15 minutes and then just wake up screaming. My question is, at what point are you spoiling her? I don't mind picking her up if I am not doing some long term damage...I don't want her to cry it out but my friend has a 2 year old who absolutly can NOT be away from his mom long enough for her to go to the bathroom and I refuse to let Edie be that way...but everything i read says that she needs to know I am here and that she is too young to "cry it out". But what is the cut off for this? I don't know if she "needs" to be comforted or if she has learned already that if she cries I will drop everything and sit with her. I am losing it!
