I have purchased purple headlights for my wife's car and I was just wondering are they legal in the state of Texas?

If they are HID's that produce a bluish/purplish shade on them I would hardly doubt that you will get pulled over for them. However, if they are plain-out purple, then I would recommend you to change bulbs, its not so safe for the driver of the car also.

Nope! Anything but white is for off-road use only. It's OK for a show car, but not on the street.

I do believe the xeion colored lights are allowed but D.O.T wont allow the colored license plate frames. (Who are they to tell us what we can or can't have on our car If they want to make the car payments and the insurance payments they can then tell us what to have on our car)

probably , if being allowed to marry your own thirteen year old cousin and getting arrested for not owning a gun in texas, i think you will probably be allowed to have pink lights on your ride
