I need help with part b, I know part a.

An athlete executing a long jump leaves the ground at a 35 degree angle & travels 6.8m.
a) what was the takeoff speed? 8.3.
b)If this speed were increased by just 2%, how much longer would the jump be?.

So far this is what I did but I got the wrong answer....
8.3 x .02 = .166 --> V0=8.3 + .166=8.466..
Vx0=8.466cos(35)=6.93
Vy0=8.466sin(35)=4.85

y=y0 + Vy0t + .5(-9.8)(t^2)

The threee year old cat (male) and the puppy (female) mostly play. It can be irritating, but the behavior is correctable and I'm working on keeping them in line. However the old cat is scary and the puppy is markedly more aggresive with her. Also the younger cat is aggresive with her and will chase her through the house or they fight, which gets the dog all riled up. Even when the dog is caged the cats fight for position on the bed, sometimes in the middle of the night. This has become more prevalent as the older cat has become more and more frail. She is also exhibiting undesirable behaviors she would never have done when younger. The vet said cats can actually become sort of senile and outside of being moody, frail and senile, she's in farily good health for her age. To keep the peace and my sanity, should I put the old cat down or find the puppy a new home?

Sex is dangerous, smoking is dangerous, drinking is frowned on, paedophiles are everywhere, bombs/anthrax/bird flu are all around, gatherings of more than 3 people are technically illegal, you can't have a religion without being made to feel guilty, you can't even have a decent fight without 'anger management' counselling, you can't have firework fights, you can't shoot each other with gat guns, you can't ride a bike without body armour, pets give you asthma and if you ever feel anything above the neck you get prozac. What kind of a life is this you young ones are getting?

Hi, I'm going to be playing this and I was just wondering if anyone had any information on this song at all? I know the composer, Isaac Albeniz, this song was actually written for a piano (and it's crazy how well it transcribes to guitar!), but I'm going to be presenting it rather formally for an audience, and I already know they want some background on it. ANY INFO WILL HELP!!!! Thanks!!! :).

Thats what I believe for having cats all my life. However one of my kitten loves to sleep under the blanket. In a hot day his fur gets damp when we touch him. Is he sweating? He is sleeping alone and the humidity can't be transfered by other living thing except himself. He doesn't smell (if cat's sweat smell) his damp fur smell just like fresh linen from the blankie.
