The site should still remain sensitive while there should not be draining or puss around the incision site. It would be best to contact your healthcare provider to avoid infection. He/She may want you to come in before your scheduled post delivery visit.

i had a c-section several months ago, and it stayed sensitive for more than 4 weeks. as far as the draining, i don't remember, you may want to call and speak to a nurse just to be on the safe side. congrats on the baby
